Author's POV: Jade is currently 16 and Sebastian is 15. Jade started going school again. During the lunch time....

Sebastian: "Jade, Jade look I bought your favourite sandwiches. Please have some, I don't know whether you have eaten since morning or not. Please have it Jade for my sake."

Jade: "I don't have appetite."

Sebastian: "Jade till when will you live like this. Did u perhaps forget you are not the only one struggling? Did you forget that you have someone who is going through the same phase as yours. I relate your pain and who else can understand it better than me. Yet we can't stop eating or living our life."

Jade: "I know it, I know what you're going through. I honestly feel like something is wrong. I might be overthinking at the moment. I console myself everyday thinking that it's destiny. You and I have the same destiny with little differences. I'll have the sandwich Sebastian just because you are requesting me to."

Sebastian: "*hugging her* Everything is going to be alright Jade."

Sebastian's POV: My parents were longer alive. An year after Jade's parents passed away, my parents died in the car accident. I know it sounds strange but at times, I always felt that my and Jade's destiny was tied together. Was it really destiny? My parents were mafias. Yes! This is the truth but I loved them. They had killed many innocent people but still they were my parents. I never told anyone about my parents except Jade. When I was 13, they got into brutual car accident. Their car skidded and dangled off the side of the cliff edge. Unfortunately, it fell down the hill. The police arrived at the accident spot after few people informed them. They tried their best by sending their team down the hill. Their team discovered that the car was in miserable condition and had caught fire. They tried to investigate the dead body but it was not found. Perhaps, it was assumed that my parents were in the car even though the car fell down the hill and they got burned inside. The police tried to find any evidence of the victim to find out his/her identity and inform the family. After one hour of investigation, the senior head discovered the identity card of the victim and hence it was confirmed that the victim was Mr.Kennel and his wife Mrs.Ellis. Everyone in the city knew this famous mafia couple. The media went crazy. It was all over the news. The tragic death that shocked the citizens. That night, I got my parents death news by the senior head officer of the investigation department. That night was the worst night of my life. Since then, Jade was the only one with whom I shared my pain, grief and sadness. That night, Jade came to me and we both cried in each other's arms. I and Jade went through the same pain. We both lost our parents in a painful death.

Author's POV: Sebastian was now living with his uncle and aunt. They moved into his ancestral house. After school Jade would spend afternoon with him and return back to her home in the evening. They both were each other's company. They both realised that they can't live without each other, well not because they had romantic feelings for each other but because of the fact that when they were together, there was a formation of positive bond that held them together, the bond that gave them hope to move on in their lives and lastly have each other's shoulders to cry on.

As the time passed, Jade finally moved on from the grief that held her long. She realised that all this grief would make her weak and never let her move on. She would stay in the depression forever. Sebastisn too moved on in his life. Jade was finally 17 and Sebastian turned 16. If there was someone whom Jade loved the most after her parents was her grandparents. After her parents passed away,it was her grandparents who took care of her and never let her feel the lack of love. But Sebastian was all alone. Unlike Jade, his uncle and aunt did not treat him right. He had regular fights with them and often questioned them as to why did they move in into Sebastian's house.

One day when Jade and Sebastian were sitting in the park:

Jade: "Did you have argument again with your uncle?"

Sebastian: "Yes Jade! I did!"

Jade: "What happened, why are you so angry?"

Sebastian: "What should I tell you Jade. I am so frustated. My uncle is accustomed to pick up fights with me everyday. It seems like he has started dominating the house. I wish my parents were here Jade. They would have shot my uncle dead if they were here today. My parents could never stand someone humiliating me or dominating me."

Jade's POV: As Sebastian was talking, I could see his eyes turning moist. It seemed as though a drop of tear is eager to fall out from his eyes. I knew he was going through a rough time because of his uncle. I hugged him tightly and said,

Jade: "You can cry if you want, I guess it won't be a problem. I feel bad for not being able to help you out in this situation. Have you thought of some way to tackle with this situation?"

Sebastian: "No Jade but I have to, I can't live with him any longer."

Jade: "Wait Sebastian, you have a farmhouse as well right?"

Sebastian: "Oh yes Jade! I do"

Jade: "So why don't you live there temporarily. I think for now it's a great idea to escape from your uncle."

Sebastian: "Thanks jade, I'll go right back and pack my stuff and shift in there."

Jade: "Who will take care of you then? I believe there is no one except you there. But thankfully, the farm house is not so far from my house. Its at walking distance. Hurry up! Pack your belongings and shift there today."

Sebastian: "Yes I'll inform you when I get out of my house."

*Sebastian left*

Jade: *talking to herself* "I hope everything will be alright soon."

Author's POV: That day after Sebastian went to pack his belongings, Jade returned back to her home. Her grandparents room was beside her room. As she was heading towards her room, she heard her grandparents talking.

Jade's Grandfather: "If it wasn't us, Jade won't be alive today."

Jade's Grandmother: "The danger to Jade's life which always haunted us is no more."

Jade's Grandfather: "But, there is something which always bothers me."

Jade's Grandmother: "I know what it is, you are afraid if someday Jade finds out the truth. Even I am too. This thing has kept me up all night. But I will just pray for my Jade. I don't want my Jade to go through more. She has already faced a lot.

Jade's Grandfather: "I know dear, I just hope Jade never finds it."

Jade's POV: Wait what? My life has been saved? What do they mean? I tried to put my ear close to the door to listen but my grandparents ended the conversation. I went back to my room and locked the door. I knew something was not right. What truth were they talking about? There were several questions arising in my mind and I needed answer. One thing was for sure, there is something which my grandparents are hiding from me. I need to unveil the truth.

Author's POV: That night Jade could not sleep. She had several questions and she needed answer. She has to find out the truth by herself now.

What truth did her grandparents hide? Can Jade find it out? What will be Jade's next step?
