Chapter 5: Chase The Sun

He peered into my eyes. I started blushing. He kissed me on the cheek & then climbed off the bed. "So Holly. Like what you wanna do today?"

"I don't know. But I know I'm bored."

"Wanna go shopping?"

"Nah."

"Um, skating?"

"I did that for the day."

"Um, kissing?"

"NOPE", I said with a teasing voice.

He placed my lock of hair behind my ear & kissed my forehead.

"Um, the beach?"

"That sounds fun."

"Picnic on the beach?"

"Oooh! That'll be so much fun!"

He smirked. He grabbed my hand & we headed on downstairs.

Willow was in the kitchen.

"HEY BOO!", she exclaimed.

We ran & hugged each other.

"I haven't seen you in so long", she said with a smile.

"Me neither! How've you been?"

"I've been good. & you?"

"Great!"

"Why don't you text me anymore Holly?"

"I'm sorry Willow. I'll text you! Haha."

She smiled. She then grabbed her shake & started walking out.

"I'll leave you two lovebirds alone", she said with a wink.

Jaden looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"ANYWAYS!"

I chuckled.

"So lets start packing J."

He went into the cupboard & grabbed the basket. I started taking out the things. Once we completed the basket, Teo walked into the kitchen.

"Where you guys going?"

"Picnic.", I replied, while trying to pack the things.

"Without me?"

"YUP."

Jaden started laughing.

"Damn man", Teo said. He chuckled. "Just kidding. Have fun kids! Be safe."

Jaden gave him a straight face. "Shut up Mateo."

He laughed his way out of the kitchen.

I was still packing the basket, when Jaden asked if I needed assistance.

"You need help babe?"

"That would be nice."

He then pulled me out of the way, "I got it."

He picked me up and sat me on the counter, as he packed the basket.

He was still shirtless. As he placed the items, his muscles rippled & I couldn't help it, I stared. He looked up at me seated next to the basket & started laughing.

"What?", I inquired with a goofy smile.

"I know you're staring!"

"No I'm not."

We were both laughing.

"Keep it 250 Holly. You were staring."

"Haha! Okay, maybe just a little."

Jaden started blushing.

He packed the last item & put the basket on the other counter.

"Let me go take a shower & get ready babe. Alright?"

"Yeah."

He picked me up off the counter, kissed me & headed to the bathroom.

He was done. He came out of the bathroom, soaked, with his towel wrapped around his waist.

"Holly."

"Yeah?"

"Help me choose what to wear."

"You're a grown ass boy Jaden."

"C'mon babe, please?"

"Fine."

He walked in front of me, as we headed to his closet.

"Hold on for a few", he went in the room, & closed the door.

He came back out with his boxers on.

"Okay, help me now."

We went into his closet, and I tried to decide.

"Umm.....", I looked at some of his shirts. It was hard to decide. I reached for his shirt from the top, but I couldn't. I was too short. I got on my tippy-toes & pulled & all the clothes fell on me. He started dying of laughter.

"Don't laugh at me babe!"

"It's funny."

"No it's not", I said with a puppy-dog face.

He helped me put back up all his clothes, & chose the top I wanted him to wear.

He grabbed his Jogger pants & shoes, put them on, & we headed down the stairs. I grabbed the basket, he grabbed a blanket & we walked out of the house. Mateo yelled, "Bye!" I gave him a slight wave, & we climbed into Jaden's car, on our way to the beach.

The car ride was nice. The windows were rolled down as my hair blew in the wind. He placed his left hand on the steering wheel, & held my right hand. "I love you Holly." I started smiling, & as he reached the stop light, I kissed him on the cheek. After about a half-an-hour, we were at the beach.

We climbed out & took in the air. As Jaden pulled the key out of the ignition, I grabbed the basket. He closed his door, came to my side, opened the door & grabbed my hand. As we walked away, he locked the car.

"Wow it's so beautiful!", I exclaimed with a grin.

"Not more beautiful than you."

"Ha."

We walked down the sandy beach, & chose a spot.

Surprisingly, no one ran up to him. He spread the blanket, as I held the basket, & we sat. He started smiling randomly.

"Jaden. What?"

"Nothing."

"No seriously. What?"

"Nothing Holly!" He started laughing.

I smacked him in the back of his head.

"Jaden! Not funny!"

He started laughing again & jumped on me. "Don't smack me like that again."

"Oh yeah? Like you're gonna do something."

I rolled over, got up & smacked him again. I started running, as he chased me into the sunset. Everything was perfect.
