"Uzui Tengen!" A man with rather long hair tied up into a short ponytail announced. He wore a what would be considered headband on his forehead which was covered in four jewels Mitsuri couldn't stop staring at. Trailing down to his uniform, it was a turquoise version of the standard one except sleeveless, same could be said about his pants which reached to just under his knees. Around his shoulders hugging his muscles tightly were two gold rings which were obviously expensive.
"Kanroji Mitsuri, nice meeting you!" She introduced herself, blushing slightly after realising how long she was studying his attire. "I hope we will be good friends!" She cheesily said after a while of silence. Only birds chirping could be heard off in the trees during this time, singing their morning song which was truthfully quite addicting. If she had the chance to, she probably would've kept the song to herself and replayed it every time she ate a meal which was quite often.
Meals were her favourite part of the day due to her uncontrollable hunger. She could never fight on an empty stomach, much less function properly. Her favourite had to be Sakura Mochi¹! It's how she had her bizarre hair colour, a strawberry pink fading into lime green. She had to admit, it was pretty cool and she loved it, unlike some males she had encountered. She ate far too much and way too often to the point where her hair had changed!
"How about you look around for a bit Kanroji, I'd like to talk to Uzui!" Rengoku Kyōjurō suddenly burst out, startling both of them as the words that escaped his mouth were extremely loud, sometimes it was unbearable but she managed, he was her sensei² after all, he was too precious to her. She hesitantly turned around and started walking the other way as Rengoku started lecturing Tengen about who knows what.
Saying the garden itself was huge was definitely an understatement, so she settled for gigantic. The ground in front of the short stage-like patio was covered in rocks while the back had luscious green grass and a small pond. It also had a couple trees, two closer to the pond, the rest tucked away in the back.
"Good morning~!" A rather quiet but soothing voice said in a friendly manner. She turned around to just under the tree where a short woman with black and purple tinted hair stood. She had an interesting butterfly clip attached to the back of her head and her haori³ reminded Mitsuri of butterflies. Beside her was another woman, definitely taller, around the size of Mitsuri herself who was average sized, around 167cm(5'6). She had black fading into blue hair, her Haori consisted of two designs, half a nice red and the other a geometric pattern in the colours green and yellow. She shrugged it off to a strange fashion choice (which she still thought was cute) but something was telling her it was different, something more deep.
"A-Ah, hello" she replied after a while of staring at the two, confusion visible in her eyes. She cursed herself for stuttering.
"You're Rengoku-san's Tsuguko⁴, right? Pleasure meeting you, I'm Kochō Shinobu, the insect pillar" she continued, obviously paying zero attention to the embarrassment of the new Hashira, which was greatly appreciated or Mitsuri wasn't sure she could live with it until the start of the meeting.
"Hai⁵! Nice to meet you, I'm Kanroji Mitsuri, the new Love Pillar" she replied proudly, a huge genuine smile on her face. Now that she thinks about it, she's quite similar to her Sensei. Turning her attention to the other woman, she noticed she wasn't even looking her way, rather staring thoughtfully at the ground.
"Ne, Tomioka-san, it'd be rude not to introduce yourself" Kochō teased poking Tomioka's shoulder multiple times trying to get her attention. Once she did, Tomioka glared at her for a bit, Shinobu laughing playfully.
"Tomioka Giyuu" the shy girl finally mumbled looking into Mitsuri's lime green eyes with her ocean blue ones. It was easy to get lost in them, they were beautiful and showed emotion her face couldn't make. It was a rather masculine name and Mitsuri would've thought it was a man if it wasn't for certain aspects such as her breasts (which were a bit smaller than Mitsuri's) and her feminine face as well as build.
