•Tubbo POV•

School was.. school. Survive long periods of pain and suffering.

But lunch was.. different. Usually, I sit alone in the edge of  a table in the back. Yes, Tommy invites me to join him and his friends but I really don't want a headache.

I sat down and put my head in my hands, trying to mute the sounds of teenagers screaming at the top of their lungs.

I closed my eyes, doing my best to relax and maybe even get some sleep, when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hey, may I sit here?" Ranboo asked, pointing to the seat next to me. I looked at him for a bit, staring at his eyes. We made eye contact, and he started looking around anywhere but my eyes in panic.

"I-it's fine if you don't want me too, I just wanted to cause my table was full and you loo-"

"It's fine. Sit." I muttered, slightly smiling. He seems panicky. It's cute.

............

What?

Nothing about Ranboo it cute. Sure, he's pretty, but- what? Uh.. yeah he's pretty. But everyone knows that. It's just a compliment. It's true, too. Wait- why am I explaining this to you? Never mind-

I put my head back down on the mostly dirty cafeteria table, and closed my eyes, like before. I could feel him shifting in his seat, uncomfortable. I hummed, smiling to myself.

I was this close to getting sleep, when I hear an ambush come for the table. "There you are Boo. Girls! He's over here."

I shot my head up in annoyance.

It was the Blondie from before. She seemed to recognize me too, as her smile faded away and she glared at me. I happily smiled in response.

"Boo, why are you over here? Especially with- this loser." She gagged. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh uhm- Tracy, you know I don't really like sitting with... you guys." Ranboo said, mumbling the last bit.

I couldn't hold my laughter. I bursted out, hysterically laughing. Tracy looked at me annoyed and confused while Ranboo looked at me, only confused but couldn't help himself from smiling.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but this is all too good. Perverted short white girl, clearly has daddy issues and is named Tracy. Alright, when you go back to your High school musical hell hole, don't lead "all in this together", your voice sucks ass."

I smiled, as her mouth was open a little. I'm so proud of myself sometimes.

Ranboo was snickering for a bit, but straightened up worried after a second. "Oh come on Ran, loosen up. She isn't actually gonna do anything to you. And if she does.."

That last part came out on its own.

"I dunno if you're brain dead or deaf, but I'm pretty sure Ran has told you many times that he could give zero shits about you, so if you could do all of us a favor: kindly fuck off." I said, giving her the same dead glare she's giving me.

She opened her mouth, like she was going to retort back- but she didn't.

"I- well- you-!" She stumbled on her words.

"What's the problem sweetheart, cats got your tongue?" I smirked.

Her gazed hardened, and she looked back at Ranboo. "Well? Him or me."

As if that's even a question!

"I'm gonna hang here with Tubbo." He said, awkwardly scratching his arm. She scoffed and stormed back towards the hell hole she came from.

I grinned. Tubbo: two, Tracy: zero

And like nothing happened, my head rested in my hands once more, grin disappearing. I tilted my heads toward Ranboo, a shocked look on his face.

It made me smile. "I- uh. Wow." He whispered.

I snorted. Ranboo's a funny guy.

"You deal with that a lot?" Ranboo asked. "I could ask you the same." I replied, not answering his question.

•Ranboo POV•

Tracy stormed off, and I sat there flabbergasted. Tubbo scared off Tracy Williams. Tracy Williams. Something I could never do.

"You deal with that a lot?" I asked, still shocked.  "I could ask you the same." He replied.

"Well- hey, I asked you first." I snickered.

He hummed. "Eh, not really, but at the same time yes? I dunno I guess. You?" He asked.

"Tracy.. yeah. But others know when to knock off. She doesn't. Her and her friends follow me around sometimes. It's weird."

"Well I think if you tried, you could scare off Karen, Gretchen, and Regina."

Karen and Gretchen-? What?

"What?" I asked confused.

He stifled a laugh. "Nothin, nothin. Just- I'm pretty sure if you tried hard enough those bitches will knock off ya. I mean, your pretty intimidating."

"Intimidating?" I asked, tilting my head.

"Well, not to me of course, but I could see the public eye scared of some tall ass dude with a mask and glasses, who seems to normally wear dark colors." He snorted, adjusting his head.

I hummed.

"Though you look intimidating you seem very.. shy, in a way. And that's coming from me." He said, propping himself up more.

"Huh.. yeah I guess. I'm not a very people person." I said.

He hummed. "So you have any friends? Like- real ones?" He asked.

"Oh.. uh.. well- before I did but I moved so.. no not really."

"That's kinda weird. Since you're so popular n' all."

I shrugged. "I don't know why I am. I barely even know these people!" I threw my hands in the air. He giggled which was kinda cute. Made my face a little warm.

......

Huh.

"How bout you?" I asked. He shook his head. "Nope. Aside from my brother Tommy, I don't know anyone here. I like it like that though, so I'm pretty content." He replied, tapping his arm with one of his fingers.

I hummed in response. "Well then.. I'd like to be your first. If- that's okay with you of course." I said, silently cursing at myself.

He looked at me, a weird look in his eyes. I couldn't quite read how he was feeling, and that made me really worried.

He then took out his hand. "Tubbo." He said smiling. I shook his hand. "Ranboo."
