JOGO WAS SO FUCKED. THIS was worse than when he fought against Gojo. At least he had backup and the humans there helped to distract him too.
Meanwhile, he now had no backup and the only human who could've helped to distract Sukuna had fainted, which was just his fucking luck.
"You're next, cursed spirit," the King said, glancing over at him coldly. "What do you need?"
"N... nothing," Jogo said feebly, hesitantly looking up to make eye-contact.
He frowned. "What?"
"Our objective is to fully revive you," he explained. "Right now, Itadori is helpless to counter, but this is only temporary. Surely you know that better than anyone."
The second the words left his lips, he harshly bit the inside of his tongue. Did he sound too disrespectful? Too demanding? He couldn't help it. They were at the cusp of their plan now!
"Make a binding vow with Itadori Yuji before he takes control again! A binding vow that'll let you take over his body permanently! Shibuya is crawling with Itadori's friends! Use them as leverage!"
"Not necessary," Sukuna shot him down. "I have my own plans."
Jogo didn't know if he was hallucinating, but he swore he saw one of Sukuna's lower pair of eyes steal a glance at the unconscious blue haired girl on the floor. The same one that he supposedly cared about (the very thought of the King of Curses caring about someone—and being open about it—still rendered him speechless).
He didn't want to voice his doubts about the King of Curses, but Jogo was beginning to question this man. It had been months since Itadori Yuji had become his vessel, and so far, Sukuna had done nothing about it. Not only that, but he apparently became besotted to some human girl as well? Just what was going on?!
Sukuna released a low chuckle, which snapped him back into focus.
"You cursed spirits sure are desperate," he noted. "As a token of my appreciation for the fingers, if you can land even one hit on me, I'll do as you cursed spirits ask for now. As for my first order of business... How about I kill every human in Shibuya? All but two, that is."
"Two?" Jogo uttered.
"Obviously, this idiot right here," he motioned to Mizuhime's unconscious form. "As for the second one... well, that's none of your business."
Mizuhime and Fushiguro Megumi were too important for Sukuna to risk. He had his plans for the both of them, and he would've been greatly pissed if any harm were to come to them before he could even enact any of his plans.
