1: Luce

"Lulu, can you help me with this?" Her co worker called for her. Luce turned and walked over after serving the drinks.

"Luce, don't leave us!" The men complained and she laughed.

"I'm not leaving boys, Boss called." She left to help her co-worker.

"I envy you Lulu." She said. Luce looked at her.

"Why, Emma?"

"You're so popular here. You're talented at bartending. You're gorgeous. You can get anyone but choose not to." She laughed at her friend.

"I choose not to because I'm not wanting to be in a relationship. I don't have time for it."

I mean it's not like I have a choice anyways. I'm waiting to find my mate and I haven't. Moon Goddess is probably punishing me.

"You okay?" Emma sounded worried because Luce zoned out.

Luce looked at her.

"Yeah sorry. Let's finish."

When Luce clocked out, she stretched.

"That was a good shift." She put on her leather jacket and got on her bike. She put her helmet on and drove off to her house. When she pulled up, she parked. She sighed.

"I wish you were here mom and dad. I'm sorry." She took off her helmet and put her bike in the garage. She took her shoes off and tossed her keys on the table by the door.

"Full moon is in 2 days. I hope I find my mate."

Living in the woods, wasn't a problem for her or at least living in an area where humans don't go. I know it definitely creeps out Emma everytime she spends the night with Luce. She always wonder why she was by the woods or basically in it. Luce had to move in the human area because of how dangerous the woods were especially if her pack found her. She hasn't risked going into her wolf form. When she learned on her own how to change into human form, she stayed in it from then on. SHe didn't want to risk getting caught. The risk of getting killed. She was banned. How can you go run around her home without being scare. She met with a wizard to mask her scent so werewolves couldn't find her. She lived in secret.

Luce closed her eyes while laying on the couch in her work clothes. She drifted off and regretted it imediately.

She was surround by fire. Hearing the howls of her parents and the packs hunters.

"Mom! Dad!" Luce yelled. The screams got louder for her. She growled loud while holding her head. She looked and seen the rest of the pack growling at her. Her brother threw her out the house. She landed and whimpered once she hit the tree. She got on her paws and stared at him.

"Leave. You're no longer welcome here!" He growled loud. She grabbed her bag of stuff with her teeth. She ran to a small cave she found.

She woke up sweating. She sighed and stood up from the couch, heading to the kitchen. She filled a glass with water and chugged it.

"I'm glad I have the next 2 days off." She left to her bedroom to change into night clothes but seen the lights at night and shining through the trees. She groaned. She went to her window and stared out as the sun was starting to rise, telling her that it was 6 something in the morning. She seen glowing purples dots and tilted her head. She closed her eyes and opened them to see it gone.

"God I need sleep." She left to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Hmmm what do I want to eat?" She decided to make eggs with bacon, sausage, and toast. Once she was finished, she set up the back porch table. She sat down while setting up her laptop. She decided to watch a movie. She was eating when she all of sudden smelt something. Her eyes glowed while eating. She gulped while eating. She turned and seen a huge wolf. She yelped and fell out her chair and pushed back.

The bright yellow eyes and all black fur. She was shaking.

He is a werewolf but I can't let him know.

She watched as he stalked towards her.

"Please don't hurt me." She told him. He tilted his head. He barked. Help.

What is a werewolf asking me for help?

She slowly stood up.

"Do you want food? Are you hungry?" I asked him. He shook his head. He kept barking. I looked around.

My friend is in danger. The pack house is too far away.

My eyes widened. She put her hand up and ran inside to grab shoes. SHe went to the back porch and seen him staring at her. She held out her hand. He slowly walked up to her. He nudged her hand. He pulled on her sleeve while dragging her.

"Okay, I'll follow you." He jogged ahead and she jogged behind him.

Damn it. This is not how I wanted to spend my day off. Helping a werewolf.

He stopped causing her to stop. Her eyes widened. She seen an arrow in the reddish-brown wolf's leg. I walked up to it and hearing it whimpered made her upset. This is why she chose to not go in her wolf form. She set her bag down.

"Hello boy. It's okay." She calmly said while reaching her hand out to slowly pet him. The black wolf layed in front of his friend.

She took out gloves and put them on. She took a deep breath.

"This is gonna hurt okay?" She seen as the injured wolf had looked at her with pain. She grabbed the arrow and pulled it out causing the wolf to yep and cry for help. She immediately put some medicine on it and wrapped it up. She put her tools away. All of sudden, she heard howls. She turned.

I think I just summoned his whole pack. I need to go.

She turned to the wolves.

"He should be better soon. I have to go." She ran away not realizing she dropped something.
