16: Fear

After our visitors left, we went inside. I went straight to Hae. She stopped crying. I took a deep breath. I looked at Dongsoo. It was dead silent as I looked outside to watch for the wolves.

"I'm sorry." Dongsoo said.

"Why are you sorry buddy?" Wendy asked.

"I caused trouble. I brought the rogues to you guys and now you're in danger because of me." He said and sniffled. I clenched my jaw while holding in tears.

"No sweetie. It isn't your fault. It's their fault. You're just a kid." Irene said.

"I don't want anymore people dead because of me." He was crying. I turned around and walked to him. I seen the girls move out the way. I sat on my knees in front of him. He looked in my eyes as I shed a few tears. His eyes widened.

"Y-you're crying?"

"You're just like me. I lost most my pack to rogues. My parents burned plus half my territory. Everyone blamed it on me even though I was a kid. Even though I was 13. My pack kicked me out and banned me. I was alone for 6 to 7 years. I had no one til now."

"You were by yourself with no one caring for you. No family?" I nodded.

"Your mate though?" He turned to Hoseok. I smiled lightly.

"I found him after all these years of being alone. I saved one of his pack members from dying. This pack became my family recently and I was afraid. Still am because of me getting used to being alone. Dongsoo." I paused while looking down.

"I'm sorry. I showed aggression because of my past. I was protective. I didn't want to risk the past repeating. Please forgive me." I said. I looked up and he hugged me. My eyes widened.

"I forgive you Luna. Please don't cry. You aren't alone anymore." I froze and then hugged him back. We broke the hug and then I laughed while wiping my tears.

"Aish what are you wearing?" I asked.

"We had to make a makeshift outfit til you got back."

"Let's go get you changed." We left to get him clothes. When I got them finished, I sent Dongsoo down to hang out with everyone. I kept Hae in my arms and looked through the book. I felt nauseous all of a sudden and a rush of fear. I thoroughly looked through the book just to make sure.

"Something isn't right." I said quietly while reading. I went downstairs with the book.

"Luna, why do you have the book?"

"Didn't you think this book was a little weird? Nothing really adds up with this book. Especially in it. Some of this sounds jumbled together and I can't get ahold of my parents." I said.

"Well you went through the book with us. Maybe you're overthinking it?"

"Something just feels wrong. Like this isn't everything." I said.

"It's probably that group that got in your head. Don't think too much about it."

"I'm going to train to get my mind off of everything."

"Okay baby. Let's all train then." I got in my normal training clothes.

--------------Days later---------------

I was confused about everything.

"What's wrong?"

"The 2 packs. They haven't tried coming near us. It's been a month and a half." I said.

"Baby. Everything is fine. Maybe they learned." Hoseok tried to calm my nerves. We parked. I took a deep breath. We got out.

"Alpha Hoseok and Luna. How are you?"

"We are doing great Alpha Suho." Hoseok smiled. We left to the meeting house.

"So what has got you feeling rather scared, Luna?"

"Mwo?" I looked at their pack.

"You reek of it." I pouted.

"My brother's pack."

"Your pack." Jungkook said. I sighed.

"My pack. They want to start a war but it's been a month close to 2 since our last altercation." They were confused.

"What do you mean pack?"

"That's right I never told you the reason and story. Well to kinda shorten the story. I was part of the Black Shadow pack til the alpha and Luna, my parents burned to death along with half the pack. I got banned because of the rogues that did it that I let in and my brother who thought was blood, isn't and I'm a royal alpha so that makes the black shadow pack my pack and my brother can't kill me or he with be killed on the spot. I got a book that is meant for me and had to go back to the pack but things got a little bloody and we left but they haven't attacked us and I have a child I imprinted on." I explained.

"Ok then."

"Well shit."

"Yes." I said.

"We just want to know if you had any odd or suspicious behavior around the territory." Mark Tuan said.

"Nothing really has been happening at all. We've been doing patrols and nothing unfamiliar." I pouted. I felt sadness all off a sudden mixed with fear.

"It'll be okay." Hoseok said.

"That's not me."

Get back to the house. We are getting ambushed.
