Epilogue

Yuna POV

As I slowly opened my eyes, I was lying on the ground and as I sat up, I realised that I was back on the planet Earth where I'm supposed to be at right now.

Yuna: Ow... That hurt... Why am I not dead yet...?

Then Akito rushed towards me.

Akito: YUNA! HANG IN THERE! You're gonna be okay, you're safe now. Just don't move, okay?

Yuna: Akito... You won't believe what just happened... I just got back from several places that had 0% oxygen. It was freezing on Kerberos and when I was with the GDL in a mission against monsters of the Ice. I also had to fight against monsters in the deep too, as well as attempting to rescue the bore-drill and its lost crew from the centre of the Earth. It was way above 3000 degrees kelvin. Then I had to chase down a Bounty Hunter in Coruscant and I had a massive impact after the speeder crashed.

Akito: You did hit your head really hard, so I can understand how much pain you're in.

Yuna: Don't you remember? You radioed me during that time... Ouch...

Then Akito kneeled down next to me.

Akito: Sometimes you could end up in a coma or having crazy dreams or visions after having a head collision.

Yuna: How many hours was I out cold?

Akito: You've been missing for about 6 hours.

Yuna: What!? Seriously!? I almost died!!!

Akito: I thought you had fully recovered, but I guess not. I'll call an ambulance for you, okay?

Yuna: Okay... How and why am I not dead yet?

Akito: I'm not sure, but you'd better take it easy. I'm pretty sure that the doctor is gonna advise you to rest.

Yuna: So, what did you want to tell me?

Akito: Huh?

Yuna: You don't remember? You told me that you wanted to tell me something while I was on Kerberos.

Akito: I don't remember seeing you on Kerberos, but I did have something to tell you, but It's a little embarrassing... and a bit awkward right now... So... Hang on a second. I've gotta radio the others...

Then Akito radioed the Nursedessei's command room.

Akito: This is Hijiri. I've found Shizuma, but she's in a critical state after a serious head collision. I'm gonna call an ambulance for her so that she can receive immediate medical attention.

Captain: Understood. Please take good care of Shizuma.

Akito: Roger!

After the call ended, Akito then turned to me and was shocked as I was trying to sit up.

Akito: Yuna, no, you should lie down. You must be in a lot of pain right now.

Yuna: But... our Captain is worried about me.

Akito: I know, but he told me to look after you.

Yuna: But...

Akito: No buts. Now please... just rest, okay?

Yuna: Okay, but just tell me what you wanted to tell me, okay?

Akito: Alright then. I... I think I might have a crush on you.

I was speechless.

Yuna: Wait... what!? I... I... uh... even if this never happened in reality or even if you have forgotten, you never gave up on me and you never left my side... Your kindness and compassion towards me was how real it was for me... and it motivated me to look up to you and to think highly of you. So please... don't leave me...

Akito: Yuna... I... I promise that I'll protect you. You have my word. So, will you go out with me once you're fully recovered?

Yuna: Of course.

Then myself, Akito and the rest of our comrades lived happily ever after.
