Part 6: The Bounty Hunter Chase

Yuna POV

I woke up and I heard an alarm go off. I went to see what was going on and then I blasted the Kouhuns as soon as I lured them away from Padme. Then Obi-Wan and Anakin bursted in the room and were shocked when they saw me.

Anakin: Who are you?

Yuna: I'm Yuna Shizuma from GUTS-Select. I sensed danger, so I came here as fast as I could. Hold on...

I then spotted a Probe Droid in the distance.

Yuna: There's a Probe Droid!

I then raced straight towards it, crashing through the blinds as I go through the window.

Yuna: Sorry, my bad!

Then I flew through the glass window and flung myself at the Probe Droid, grabbing onto the deadly machine before it can flee. The Probe Droid sinks under the weight of me but manages to stay afloat and fly away, with me hanging on for dear life, a hundred stories above the city.

Anakin POV

Obi-Wan, Padme and I stared at the sight of Yuna being carried off by the Droid. I then turned to Padme as she pulls her nightdress around her shoulders.

Anakin: Stay here!

Then Captain Typho, with Two Guards and Dorme, enter the room as I dashed out with Obi-Wan.

Yuna POV

The Probe Droid sends several protective electrical shocks across its surface, causing me to almost lose my grip. As we darted in and out of the speeder traffic, I disconnected a wire on the back of the Droid. Its power shuts off and then we both dropped like rocks. I then realised the error of my ways and quickly puts the wires back. The Droid's systems lit up again and it took off.

Anakin POV

Obi-Wan and I charged out of the building and we both ran to a line of parked speeders. We vaulted into an open one and took off, gunning it fast toward the lines of speeder traffic high above.

Yuna POV

The droid bumped against a wall, hoping to knock me loose. It moves behind a speeder afterburner to scorch me. It takes a GUTS-Select member wildly between buildings and finally skims across a rooftop as I'm forced to lift my legs, tenaciously hanging onto the Droid. The Droid heads for a dirty, beat-up speeder hidden in an alcove of a building about twenty stories up. When the pilot of the speeder, a scruffy bounty hunter called Cad Bane, sees the Droid approach with me hanging on, he pulled a long rifle out of the speeder and starts to fire at me. Explosions burst all around me.

Yuna: I have a terrible feeling about this.

Finally, the Droid suffers a direct hit and blows up. I then fell fifty stories, until a speeder drops down next to me, and I managed to grab onto the back end of the speeder and haul myself toward the cockpit. Then Obi-Wan grabbed my hand and helped me into the cockpit's back passenger seat.

Anakin: That was wacky! We almost lost you there for a second

Obi-Wan: What were you doing out here anyway?

Yuna: I was chasing down that Droid and I saw a bounty hunter that had shot down the Droid. Seriously, why did you two save my life?

Anakin: Because you saved Padme's life and we owe you for that.

Obi-Wan: Well, technically Anakin does. But seriously, how did you end up all the way out here? You're not from this planet, are you?

Yuna: You're right, I'm not. I'm actually a human from planet Earth. I honestly have no idea why and how I keep ending up at random places. First I ended up in the Grid, then Kerberos, then the Arctic, then in the deep oceans and then near the Earth's core... and now I'm here. Now what is this place? This is definitely not Tokyo, is it?
