I knocked at Gia's front door, waiting for her to open it. After what I saw yesterday, I haven't called or texted her. Or that's what I thought I did. I've fallen into the same trap, and only I feel dumb for it. Last night, I was up in clouds and when I'm high, I do the dumbest shit. I woke up this morning to see that I agreed to come over to Gia's house, and spend the night. So here I was, at 6:03 PM, standing outside her door.
The door swung open and Gia flung her body against mine, wrapping her arms around me. "I missed you baeeee." She giggled while stretching out her words. I gave her a small smile and hugged her back. She dragged me into the warm house and locked the door behind me. "Hey," I said.
She gave me a confused look, standing in front of me. She was only 5'6 and I was 6'3, so I looked down at her. "What's wrong?" She asked, staring at my lips. I shook my head before she planted a soft kiss on my lips. I kissed her back, my hands at her waist, than pulling away and walking towards the couch. I sat down and took off my sweatshirt since it was pretty warm in here. She walked around the couch and sat beside me. Her phone went off with notifications, but she ignored them. "Who's that?" I asked, looking over at the phone that was filled with missed messages.
"Oh-probally just the group chat you know how they are." She said stuttering and laughing at her words. I sucked my teeth and sat back, pulling out my phone. I wasn't dumb. Or dumb enough. I saw the contact name and some of the messages already. "I'm not staying long, I got shit to do." I expressed coldly. She nodded as she typed on the phone. I mumbled under my breath before opening Instagram. And the first thing I saw was Jasmine's post.
