Chapter 5 - Another One!?!

??? : Ferun Midoriya, I-I came from the future as your child mom.

Fauna blinked as she looked at Ferun who was grabbing onto her skirt, shaking. She was scared as a matter of fact. Don't get her wrong, she is happy that she gets to meet her mother from the past, but she is scared on how Fauna will react to her. She's scared to see whether or not her mother was any different from the future.

Oh she is starting to regret admitting she is her child straight away. She wishes that she didn't take after her Dad's boldness during situations like these.

The birds on the other hand started to hop a little back almost as if they're trying to not interrupt something. Fauna was staring at her daughter as her eyes express something. She raised both of her arms toward Ferun who was a bit confused by the gesture but shook in doubt. Fauna noticed it but she didn't stop her actions.

Fauna brought her hands up to Ferun's face a she cupped her cheeks. Ferun who was still confused but she felt familiar with this gesture.

Fauna smiled as she brought her head into contact with Ferun's. Their head were rubbing each other as Fauna's hair fell on Ferun's shoulder. Ferun eased up a bit but she still feels somewhat embarrassed by the action her mother is doing.

Fauna : *whispers* It's ok my little Kirin. Mommy is here.

Ferun's body stopped shaking as her body relaxes. This proves her doubts were false.... This is how Ferun's mother acted when Ferun is always shaking in fear. Ferun felt her eyes become heavy a bit as she returned the gesture by rubbing her head against her mom's. She yawned a bit as she started to slowly closed her eyes.

Fauna also has her eyes closed. The both of them were in that state for a while before Fauna opened her eyes as she set Ferun on her thighs. Ferun curled up a bit as Fauna gently caresses her hair. She took a look at the birds who understood her as they flew away.

The bird flew down the building as it went to a open window as it flew in. It's eyes darted around the whole room seeing it neatly cleaned with many of the books regarding topics of nature, magazine or some languages were seen. There was even a potted plant set on one small table. The bird however didn't go for any of that, it looked up on the table with a mirror as it flew on it.

It's beak opened a bit as it grabbed the handle of a comb before it flew out of the window.

Fauna was still caressing her daughter's hair before the bird came back with the comb. It chirped in happiness as Fauna smiled while she was handed the comb from the bird. She then started to comb her daughter's hair.

Fauna : 'My own daughter.... My little Kirin........'

Fauna in truth doesn't really know how to think of this situation. A little girl who appeared randomly on the rooftop of this hotel, claiming herself to be her daughter, yet she still trembled from saying it like she knew what she was getting herself into. She's shy yet, she's bold. Fauna can think about this for a long time on why the girl is here but in the back of her mind she already knew.

Call it Mother's instinct but when Fauna first saw Ferun herself, she felt something very familiar to her. Is it like they say? Someone who you knew that is related to you, close to you but even came from you? But even then Fauna did not even need to know the next words that came out of Ferun's mouth. She knew by then that the little girl in front of her was indeed a daughter with the same Kirin bloodline as her.

Her daughter who seemed to not be comfortable yet, turned her head around with it facing Fauna's abdomen as she pressed her head against as she smiled. Fauna ,who was caught off guard a bit, recovered as she placed the comb next to her as she lets her arm embrace her Kirin daughter.
