Paul's POV

I opened my eyes and I see what looks like what use to be a fancy old ceiling I then notice how the light is dim but I can see perfect and hear what sounds like rushing waves of water so clear. I sit up and look around and see that I'm laying in a bed and four people sitting there watching me carefully. "Paul! Man your okay!" I then feel a body collapsing on me pulling me into a very hard hug, I then hear sniffling so I pull back slightly and notice that it's marko who was crying extremely hard to the point he's shaking i look at the other three confused on what's going on as I just let marko pull me into a hug as he breaks down even as David speaks. "You both were attacked last night. You on the other hand almost died from a slit throat." I take in what he just said and I feel marko shaking even more then at that, I just sat there for what seems like forever as I'm hit with flashbacks of what happened, how me and marko got jump by a bunch of guys.

How they held marko and I down before the leader had cut open my throat and marko's screams. I pull away and look at marko and look him over as I feel tears come down my own eyes at the pain, not of myself but the pain marko went through and his cries of pain from being hit to seeing me almost dying in front of him, and just as the tears come they stop as pure anger and rage takes over and I gently push marko off of me and just as I'm about to lose my shit I'm stop by a beautiful voice and the sweetest smell I have ever smelted in my life. "Paul, honey you I know you are mad and you have every right to be, but I need you to keep calm we all need to talk about what happen  and who did this and why and then the boys and I need to tell you what you and marko are." I snap my eyes to the beautiful voice and the source of the sweet scent is coming from and see that it's coming from rose.

I then start to head straight for her without realizing that I am but the moment I do, I force myself to stop and move back away from her not wanting to piss her two boyfriends off from getting closer, I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate me touching her I then turn my attention to David.

He then leads us out of the room we are in and into the main part of the cave, he gestured for all of us to sit down. "Can you you tell us what happened last night?" I look at David for a minute before looking at marko who has some what stop crying. "Me and marko had just hung out the whole day before we took a nap at the hotel, but when it hit night time we got up and headed to the boardwalk and look around for you guys but we couldn't find you so we headed to the beach to see if you guys were there, but we didn't have time to really look because a group of guys had called out to us and they wanted to know if we were with you guys because the night on the boardwalk when David and Dwayne had kick there friends ass and we didn't have time to say anything because they then attack us and I remember right before they cut my throat... they said it was to send a warning to all three of you not to mess with them." After I finish telling them what had happened I don't bother looking at them but marko and I jump as we hear a loud crash. I look to  see a huge glass that was now broken and a very piss off rose.

Her face change into something completely different with sharp fangs and yellowish eyes she lets out a loud animalistic growl. We continue to watch even as David and Dwayne stand up and slowly walk over to her, telling her to take a deep breath and calm down and that we will take care of those assholes. "We are to kill them tonight! I don't care what or how we need to give them a slow painful death and I will not rest until we kill them all! If I have to hunt them down to the end of the earth I will." After rose is done yelling after a while, she tells us that she needs to be by herself for a while and that she will be going to her fathers house until we pick her up before we leave for the boardwalk.

"Since she left I think it's better that David explains, because he was the first that she had turned making him the second leader and me the the third." After Dwayne finishes marko looks to me confused. "Wait so if you are the third and David is the second, who is the first leader?" Marko ask as David sits back down in his chair.
