The Lost Boys mate

Rose's POV

The year is nineteen eighty four and the boys and I had a lot happen over the last few years, since nineteen seventy nine when the hunters attack me the boys are extremely protective and won't let me out of their sight barely but I'm not complaining because if what has happen to me happened to them I would lose my mind and kill anybody and anything in sight and I wouldn't give a single damn about who was in my way.

The boys and I ride downtown past the police station and restaurants, we then stop at a red light, I then hear yelling and running and see that there is a man chasing a kid that can't be older the seven, I watch him turn the corner and we happen to just turn down that way once the light turns green, I then see the boy run into an alley and sit down trying to catch his breath, he then begins to eat what's in the wrapper. "He can we stop by that's alley way really quick?" They give me confused looks then shrug and looking to see what David says but I give him my puppy dog eyes making him groan and wave his hand.

When we pull up to the entrance I get off and tell the guys to stay there while I go myself much to there displeasure, and once I walk in the alley I see the little boy eating a small thing of bread. "Hi sweetheart are you lost?" He looks up at me jumping and moving back dropping his bread on the ground. "Please don't hurt me I was just so hungry!"

I give him a sad smile. "Im not going to hurt you honey, where are your mom and dad?" I ask as he looks around before answering me. "they told me they would be back but that was a few weeks ago, I stay here until they get back but I only left to get some food." I can feel myself start to get upset, the fact that his parents just left him here on his own starving. "Well how about we get you cleaned up and then me and my boys will take you for some food would you like that?" He then nods his head and I then stand up and hold my hand out for him to take and he dose, I then pull him to his feet and lead him out of the alley way towards the boys and there bikes. "This is Paul, Dwayne, marko and David." But the kid just hides behind my leg peeking at them, Paul being ever excited speaks up. "Hey bud what's your name?" I look at the kid to see him already looking at me as if to ask if he should answer to which I nod my head.

"Hi, I'm laddie." I then look at David before I look at the others. "I want to get him something to eat but I want him to get cleaned up so I was thinking of taking him to my dad to clean up and then take him to get some food, is that alright?" They tell me yes at the same time, I then tell him to pick someone to ride with and watch as he walks to Dwayne looking as if he's asking him with his eyes to which Dwayne grabs him under his one arm and letting him climb right behind him. "Now sweetheart you have to hold onto him real tight okay? So put your arms around his waist...just like that and whatever you do don't let go." He nods his head and I turn and get on marko's bike. We then take off down the street heading to my fathers home.

Time skip

As soon as we pulled in the driveway I then walk over to Dwayne kissing his cheek and picking up laddie and sitting him on his feet, he then takes my hand and walks with me up the stairs as I knock on the door. "Rose sweetheart, boys what are you guys doing here?" He ask as he kisses me on the cheek then looking at laddie confusion. "Hey dad this is laddie, laddie this is my father his name is James. "Hello laddie it's nice to meet you!"

"Is it alright if I clean him up and explain what's going on?" He then steps back letting us in and heads to the living room. "Okay laddie let's go get you clean and then we can get some food into you." I then start the water making it nice and warm putting bubbles in it and then help him take his close off and help him get in the tub just as Dwayne knocks on the crack door. "Hey why don't you let me clean him up and you go explain to your dad what's happened okay." He then kisses my head after I let him step in and picks up laddie's clothes and hands them to me. "Laddie, Dwayne is going to bath you okay, and I'm going to see if I can find you something to wear to sleep and tomorrow." He looks up from the bubble and mumbles okay and I take my leave heading to the living room see Paul and marko about to leave. "Hey babes where are you guys going?" I as while looking between them. "Just going to get some food for all of us, do you need anything?" Marko ask and I look at the size of laddie's shirt pants and underwear are. "Yeah can you both stop at the clothing store and get some pajamas and underwear and regular clothes and socks and shoes and a tooth brush and a hair brush for him please?" They both say yes and coming over kissing me on the lips and looking at the sizes that he wears and then head out the door.

I then head over towards my father and David and sit down in silence as David and my father continue to talk for over forty five minutes and in that time laddie was already out covered in a towel, but isn't long as Paul and marko come in with bags and food, I get up and greet them with a kiss and take the bag and call out for laddie to follow me with Dwayne taking his hand and walking down the stairs and once we are in our room I then help him get dress and then brush his hair.

And once I'm done I put up the rest of his things and head up stairs with his old clothes and throw them away I then clean out the tub and as laddie brushes his teeth after he is done I wash my hands and head to the dining room and pour drinks for everyone and putting pizza on plates and surviving all the boys and myself some. "Can I have some more?" I look at laddie with a soft smile and grab him another slice. "of course you can sweetie, if you need anything you just ask one of us and you'll get it." I continue to sit with him as he eats and once he's done I clean up after all of us and then put the dishes away once I clean them.

I then noticed laddie yawn and gets up and lays down in the corner on the floor. "Laddie sweetie, you don't have to sleep on the floor you can sleep in our bed tonight." I walk over and pick him up and take him downstairs and tuck him in. "Will you stay with me?" I nod my head and lay down right behind him and play with his hair until he falls asleep which doesn't take long for him to do so, I then slowly and carefully pull away and stand up and tiptoe away from him and up the stairs.

Once I get to the top, I leave the door open just in case he needs me, I meet everyone back in the living room sitting on marko's lap taking him by surprise. "So, can you tells me about laddie." My father says making me turn my eyes to him. "Me and the boys were out for a drive and heard someone yelling and then laddies running from him, I had the boys pull over in front of the alley I seen him run in to find him eating bread, he thought I was going to hurt him from stealing the food."

"He told me it was just him, apparently his parents left him there and said they would be back for him, but that was weeks ago he stayed there never leaving that spot unless it's to steal food, hoping that they'll come back." I watch as they all take in the information I gave them before I speak again shocking them a little. "I want him to stay with us." I watch as they all sit up besides Dwayne who seems like he wants the same thing I do.

"Rose are you sure? I mean we don't know how to take care of a kid, I don't know if this is a good idea." Marko and David agree with what Paul says. "Yea, I'm sure I just have this feeling to protect and keep him safe, I want him with us." It's then quite for a while and I can tell that they are mind linking each other about it before they all look at me, David then opens his mouth to tell me there answer but is cut off by laddie himself calling me to which I then stand up and head back downstairs to our bedroom.
