"I made you some food." I gently placed the heating plate against the blanket that kept Luna's lap warm.

She softly tried to powder her nose with the tissues that I brought her. "Thank you."

"You do know that it doesn't bother me if you have to powder your nose. After all I work at St. Mungo's." I shook my head. It was true, she had no reason to be embarrassed. I'm used to it.

She smiled, highlighting her crystalized eyes and her tired gaze. "If it truly doesn't bother you, would you hold the tissue while I blow my nose into it?" She joked.

I laughed. Even when she was sick, her humor was present.

My hand pointed at the untouched food. "Eat before it gets cold." I lowered my gaze to the bag that I carried, which contained every medication that I brew for her state.

As I pulled them out one by one, I was brought back by the memories of spending the previous night brewing healing potions and how my eyes ached to close but I held them firmly opened. Accompanied by the starry sky and the crescent moon.

I placed them all on her night table, near her reach. "They are all labeled for when you have to take them. For the morning one, place three droplets in your drink. The remaining others are just two in each drink," I added.

She listened but no reply came from her mouth. But rather her stare was concentrated as if trying to absorb all the instructions.

"Don't worry, the instructions are on the back for all of them." My reassurance lifted a weight from her chest. For a person to remember all that was truly quite something. It was sometimes even challenging for me to recall such lengthfull information.

Luna took a bite from her food, savoring the flavor. "How's the baking competition coming along?"

The back of my hand made contact with her forehead as I felt the heat radiate from her skin. "Great, I've been practicing." I took the small towel that sat by the bed and poured it under cold water.

Her eyes softened. She knew me too well to know that what came from my mouth was nothing more but a lie. "I'm sorry for leaving you alone with all of it."

I placed the soaked towel against her forehead when a shiver rushed down her spine. "Don't be, for all that matters is that you get better. A life is more important than practicing for a competition."

Her warmth smile reminded me that I wasn't alone. That if I was ever under an immense pressure or stress I always had friends, who where willing to listen to me and that's all I needed, to be heard.

A soft knock on the wooden frame made us turn our gaze up to the bedroom door.

Neville stood with flowers in his hands. A smile crept up his face when Luna's gaze fell upon him.

I didn't want to invade their privacy. "I better get going." I wiped my damp hands against my pants.

"Thank you, get home safe." Luna said.

As I neared Neville, I looked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "She's stable. Please make sure that she takes her medications and keeps eating."

"I can't thank you enough. If there's anyway I can repay you-"

I shook my head as I stopped him. No, I never accepted any kind of payment or gratitude for it is my job as a healer to help others without an interest or double meaning. For everyone deserves to be treated.

"You don't need to repay me. I'm just doing my job, saving lives."

I did not wait for a response for I turned my head through my shoulder as my gaze met Luna's. "I'm coming back in a matter of days. Keep resting," I added.
