Two years before this I was a normal kid with a normal family, then one summers eve everything got turned upside down.
It all started on the afternoon of July 6th, 1996, I and some friends were picking up after the 4th when suddenly the sky went black and freezing out. I felt great pain and then blacked out, only waking to the warm summer breeze once again.
I could tell something was off though. I could hear and smell things much better than I could before. I could listen to my brother playing Mario inside. I looked down to see a small fox head-shaped pendant around my neck, its blue eyes glowing as it sent shivers down my spine. I touched it and everything faded to black.
