Episode 5: The Day Before the Mission

Narrator:It has been a few days now since Nikolai first got appointed as commander. He's spent that time getting to know his team.

*Nikolai walked down the hallway and entered the outpost area*

Nikolai(mind):This place has so much stuff from professional stations to toy store and cafes. I've been visiting the other girls every now and then. However...

*Nikolai looked behind him, and saw Rapi behind him*

Nikolai(mind):From morning to night, Rapi accompanies me everywhere I go until I dismiss her. I don't mind, but I feel like Rapi's forcing herself to do this.

Nikolai:"Rapi, you know that you can leave my side whenever you want, right?"

Rapi:"I cannot leave your side unless you dismiss me."

Nikolai:"Hmm..."

Nikolai(mind):The others simply just leave whenever they finish hanging out with me. Let's try something.

Nikolai:"What if I give you permission to dismiss yourself whenever you want?"

Rapi:"Then I will have to follow your orders."

Nikolai:"Ok then, you are allowed to leave my side whenever you want."

Rapi:"Greatly appreciated, commander."

*After a few seconds, Rapi doesn't move from her position*

Nikolai:"Uh...you don't have to stay with me still."

Rapi:"You say I can dismiss myself whenever I want, so I will."

Nikolai:"Huh..."

Nikolai(mind):Does she mean that she wants to hang out with me?

Nikolai:"Heh, ok then. Let's meet up with Anis and Neon."

Rapi:"Yes, commander."

Nikolai:"And Rapi, can you call me Nikolai. It feels weird being called Commander all the time."

Nikolai(mind):I've been telling the others that too.

Rapi:"Roger that comman-I mean Nikolai."

Nikolai:"Alright, now let's go."

Rapi:"Right."

*They head towards the Nikke dorms, and found Anis and Neon fighting in their room*

Neon:"You need to stop drinking all the soda in the fridge!"

Anis:"Well you need to stop randomly firing off your shotgun."

*Neon pulls out her gun, and fires off a blast towards the wall next to Nikolai*

Neon:"It defines who I am, you can't take this away from me!"

Nikolai:"U-Uh...morning."

Neon:"Oh, hehe...morning, commander."

Anis:"This is why you need to stop randomly shooting."

Neon:"Nikolai is fine, he understands that I need to let out my firepower every now and then."

Anis:"You don't need to let it out though."

Neon:"I can't listen to this anymore!"

*Neon turned away from Anis, and crossed her arms*

Anis:"Jeez..."

Nikolai:"I guess I'll come back a different time."

Anis:"Actually, Nikolai. We could use you for something real quick."
