You and Hiro were very close friends until one day, Hiro decided to beat the 'friend zone'. He gathered all the courage to confess his feelings for you.

"Uhmm.. (y/n), can I talk to you later? After class??"

"Of course! But why not now?"

"Eh.. Becaus-

"Kring!!!"

8:00 AM

Hiro was saved by the bell. Phew! Thanks bell! Then the teacher came.

"Good Morning Ma'am Almond." the class greeted.

"Good morning. Please take your seats. Then get your book and open it on page 123.."

You followed and she started discussing your lesson for today.

Lesson.. Discuss.. Lesson..

You checked the time on your wrist watch and it reads 11:59 AM. One more minute before the class ends! Yaaay!! Next, favorite subject, LUUUUUNCH!!

Then the bell rang.

12:00 PM

"Okay class, before I dismiss you, please copy your assignment." Great! Your teacher really loves you. Tsk! Tsk! Tells everyone to copy the assignment after the bell rang? Nice. -_-"

After copying, you quickly went out to go to your next subject which is lunch! You strode to the cafeteria to eat your lunch when suddenly, you heard a faint voice calling your name. You turned around only to see Hiro, catching up with you. He finally reached and walked beside you, catching his breath.

"Hiro! Why did you followed me?"

"Youh.. Fohrgoht?" he said panting. You remembered that he has something to tell you after class. You just mentally face palmed and said..

"Ohmygosh! I'm sorry Hiro! I forgot! Oh no! I'm sorry!" you said.

"It's okay. So where are you goin'?"

"Cafeteria. You wanna go with me?"

"Of course!"

"Great!" you said and continued to walk to the cafeteria. While walking..

"So, what do you wanna say earlier??" you asked.

"Uh.. I.. Think I.. Need to say this to you in a private place."

"Huh? Hiro! Why are you acting so weird today?" you pushed him in a friendly manner. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Well, you'll find it out sooner or later. Can we meet at the rooftop? After our afternoon class?"

"O-okay.. Hiro, I really don't know what's going on with you!"

Then you went inside the cafeteria to take your lunch.

"Kring!!!"

"Yeheeeeeey! Dismissal!! Finally I can go home!! Oh. Wait! Hiro said he'll meet me at the rooftop after class. I almost forgot. I'm really curious on what he'll say.. Is it too important? Confidential? Heh! Whatever.." You thought.

You went to the rooftop and there you spotted Hiro. Watching the sight below. Hands on his pockets while his bag was hanging on his shoulders.

"Hiroooo!!" you called him. He turned around and he saw you.

"Hey!" he said and approached you.

"So what's the 'thing' you want to tell me? Go on!!"

You sat on the ground with him.

"(y/n), you're my best friend right?"

"Uhu.."

"And you know that we are here for each other no matter what. Right?"

"Yeeeees~"

"And our friendship will never change whatever happens right?"

"Yeees! Hiro?! Let's get straight to the point!! I'm really confused!! What do you really want to tell me? Huh?"

"All I just wanna say is that I-" Hiro was interrupted by your phone, ringing.

After that phone call you went back to Hiro.

"Oh no.. Hiro.. I'm so sorry but I have to leave!! Let's just talk tommorow. Okay? Bye Hiro! Take care!!" then you went away leaving Hiro alone at the rooftop.

Hiro's POV

Why is it so hard to say that I like (y/n)?? Oh my goodness Hiro!! Why are you so slow?! Huh? Great! Now I'm talking to myself like crazy!! Argh!!! Oh love! Why are you so complicated?? (y/n), I like you. See?! Why is it so easy to say it when she's not here?! But when she's around, I'm automatically out of words?! Ugh! I hate love!! Well it's irony but, still I hate it!!! ≥﹏≤

"Hiro?? Is it all true?" I turned around only to see (y/n) standing behind me! 0_0 Ohnuuu!! Did she heard it all?! No.. Way!!!

"(y-y-y/n)?! I thought you were gone??!"

"Yes. But I came back 'coz I forgot my bag. Heheh~" you said pointing your bag, sitting on the ground.

"You didn't answer my question yet! Those words you said, is it all true?" you asked.

"What words are you talking about?"

"Argh! Do I really need to say it? You know.. The what.. The.. The..-

"What is what??"

"Eh?! The.. You said.. You.. You.. Likeme!! Is it true? Or just a joke?!"

"Oh! So you heard it all?"

"Obviously!! Yeees!!"

"Yes. It's true. That's what im goin' to tell you earlier." he said bashfully.

"Tsk! Tsk! You're so sloooow!!" you said playfully and chuckled.

"I know.. (y/n)?" he said.

"Hmm?" you hummed and raised your eyebrows.

"Can you go out with me some other time? Like on a... Date?"

"Sure! Why not?" you said and smiled.

"Really?! Ohmy! Thanks!" and because of happiness, too much happiness, he hugged you. Both of you blushed. He quickly pulled away.

"Heheh.. Sorry.." he said shyly.

"Don't be.. It's alright."

"Saturday?"

"Okay!! 6:30 pm." you said and gave him a peck on his cheek making him blush and shocked at the same time. He touched his cheek where you kissed earlier. And you can't help but giggle at his cute reaction.
