Hey everyone!
I know it hasn't been a week since the last update, but since I have this chapter ready I thought why not upload it.
For some reason today I am super tired and writing isn't coming easy to me.
I hope this chapter makes your day slightly better!
Happy reading!
Nat xxThe next morning when Cheryl woke up confusion filled her mind, she didn't remember leaving the casino never mind getting home. Wait... she was home? Her home. Oh, no. Did Toni have to put her to bed? In a panic she looked around for the jacket she was wearing last night that had the letter tucked inside the pocket and of course, it was no where to be found.
Cheryl felt the pain surge through her head as she sat up, but she needed to find the letter and then apologise to Toni about spending the night here when she was supposed to be at the brunettes house trying to keep her marriage together. This was just another one of her mess ups, so for now she pushed through the headache and got herself out of bed.
The house was eerily quiet as she stepped down the stairs before finding Toni sat at the table, the crumpled letter from Anthony laid in front of her.
Shit.
Cheryl didn't say anything as she walked into the dining room, instead she hesitated for a moment before she sat down across from Toni. She couldn't even read the look on her own face, she had no idea what her ex was thinking or where this conversation was going to go.
'Toni, I-'
'Cheryl, what the hell is this?' Toni asked lifting the letter into the air.
'A letter?'
'I can see that, where did it come from? Who is it from?'
'I-It's a letter my apparent future self wrote.'
'It says here that Anthony knows about this. Is that true?'
'Yes...'
'How?'
'I promised I wouldn't say.'
'Cheryl right now is not the time to keep secrets especially when it involves my son. It says the last thing you were thinking about was me. Why?'
'Toni I don't think now-'
'Is the right time?' Toni interrupted. 'I don't know why I'm even surprised you're keeping things from me?'
'I wasn't-'
'Forget it.' Toni slammed the letter on the table, 'I'll find out from my son and don't you dare follow me.'
Cheryl watched as Toni stormed out. This is exactly what she didn't want to happen and she couldn't help the tears falling from her eyes as she picked up the letter and headed back up to bed to hide away from the world. At least then she couldn't cause anymore damage.

Toni stormed over to Anthony when she got to Pops and she didn't care that she was suppose to be Cheryl. She also didn't care that people had stopped what they were doing to watch her.
'Cheryl, what are you-'
Toni interrupted him, 'car. Now.'
'I have to get to school.'
'That can wait. Car.'
Toni didn't wait for Anthony to answer before she turned around and stormed back out, the teenage boy slumped over as he followed her out trying his hardest not to make eye contact with anyone. He followed the redhead into the car shutting the door as he sat down.
