The next morning Toni was startled awake by a loud sound of banging, it took her a moment remember everything that happened yesterday before she sat up stretching out the unfamiliar body she now resides in. Last night was hard for her, she missed her son and she was surrounded by everything Cheryl Blossom. Not that that was a bad thing, it was just strange for her, her relationship with her ex had been strained over the last few years and as much as she wanted things to work out between them it just didn't.

When she approached Cheryl about a possible relationship after everyone found out she was having a baby with Kevin and Fangs it was completely shut down and then there was the night of the key party where the redhead had decorated that nightmarish nursery leaving Toni no choice to reject her. Maybe it was hard for a reason, simply because they're not meant to be together though deep in her heart she always believed they were.

Even as she stood at the alter where the redhead married her to Fangs, Toni felt like it was more of a goodbye to her past relationship to her ex girlfriend than an marriage to the father of her child. She didn't expect any of it to happen, she didn't expect to get into a relationship with Fangs however somewhere along the line her feelings of love for the father of her son blurred and she spoke of her feelings before even thinking it through.

And when she asked Fangs to marry her she knew she wasn't doing it for the right reasons, she simply didn't want Kevin to get full custody of Anthony and she would do anything to keep him. Anything. But now Anthony was almost an adult and every experience she looked forward to as a mother was ripped away from her for nothing.

Anthony wasn't the one who defeated Percival, she aged up her child willingly for nothing and she was bitter about it. It hurt. Her son was everything that she hoped he'd be, he was kind and loving, and he has memories of growing up which is more than Toni had. She missed his first steps, his first words, his first day at school and as much as he promises her he had a good childhood he doesn't talk much about it.

It was bizarre to her how he had memories of something that didn't exist, his childhood didn't exist and no matter how much he assured her it did she sure he was just saying it to make her feel better. Toni was pulled out her thoughts by the banging again, so she pushed back the blankets and headed downstairs.

'Hey,' Toni said as she opened the door seeing her own body stood in front of her. 'How did last night go?'

'As well as expected. Fangs is staying in the spare bedroom,' Cheryl said as she walked into her house and shut the door behind her.

'Did he take it well?'

'Better than I thought.' Cheryl walked with Toni to the lounge, visiting her own house made her see the mansion differently although she couldn't put her finger on why. 'Although as expected he was taken aback.'

'I appreciate you doing that for me.'

'You needn't thank me. Oh, I've told Anthony to meet us at the diner at 4pm I thought you might like to see him.'

Toni couldn't hide her smile, 'thank you Cheryl. How is he?'

'All right, I think. I don't, uh, I don't really know him however he seems all right. Have you heard anything from Heather?'
