Upapandav brothers (sons of Draupadi) were putting their heartily effort in learning warfare from their trainers including Pradyumn.
Little Abhimanyu used to witness their practice session along with Subhadra. He wished to join them as soon as possible. He thought to express his wish to Subhadra at first. One night when Subhadra was sitting in garden as usual Abhimanyu approached to her with slow steps.

"I want to join my brothers in learning warfare as soon as possible. That's why I wish to grow up fast, Maa!" He replied with a worried look.
"You can start learning from now on, Abhi. Don't be bothered about growing up," She lifted his chin slightly to observe the changed over his face.
"Really! I thought I won't be allowed due to my small age," As expected his expression changed into a happy one.
"Age can never an obstacle towards any accomplishment, any achievement," She told the fact simply.
