Tsukune and Yasuke were on the bus taking the only two on the said bus to Yokai Academy. Unlike Tsukune, who was attending Yokai Academy because of luck, Yasuke was attending Yokai Academy because he came from a family that were the STRONGEST.

As in they were more monster than human. Despite being human. A prime example of this would be Yasuke's grandparents, who were 200 years old a piece, physically appearing as 50 year olds who could lift weights in the thousands. Yasuke's father was the FASTEST Human alive. He wasn't as fast as the Flash, who got his powers by a freak accident, but he was faster than the new bullet train within Japan. 

His father and mother, who were Yasuke's grandparents, trained their son to become the Strangest CREATURE on the planet. And yet, no one would believe it. One reason would be their body types. Agile and Lean. Not buff or super buff. But agile and lean enough for anyone to believe that "They Aren't that strong", only to drop their jaws at the strength this family possesses. As far as Yasuke's mother was concerned, she left Yasuke's father for a richer and more established man. No one has heard from her since. So it was Yasuke that lived with his father and grandparents since he was a baby. He was raised on a farm in Maui Hawaii, where his people came from.

The Yasukians, The Yasuke Tribe, was a tribe that came from South Africa. They all left Africa to travel the world and gain knowledge and wisdom. Yasuke's family tribe, arrived in Hawaii back in 1505, and remained there ever since. Building foundations with the women of the native Hawaiian lands.

Yasuke's father, Jonathan Yasuke, married a Japanese woman. However, she wasn't happy with the lifestyle that was provided for her by Jonathan. By the time Yasuke was born, she abandoned him and her husband and found a rich man. She married him and none heard from her since. Raised by his father and his grandparents, Yasuke learned techniques, cooking skills, and so much more during his youth. He was taught to create his own path, his own destiny, one that would be told throughout history.

It was an encounter with a mysterious woman dressed in 15-century clothing with pink hair and green eyes, that Yasuke was given the registration forms for Yokai Academy. An encounter through hand-to-hand combat that proved to the mysterious woman that any normal school would be proven useless for the young man. That he needed a challenge. And a school for monsters was the challenge that Yasuke unknowingly accepted.
