The next time Lyra awoke it wasn't exactly pleasant as she felt fangs sink into her neck, making her wake up instantly and groan in pain.
Her eyes fluttered open just to see an old and run down ceiling, the pain of the bite slowly began to fade to just a weird numb feeling. Her vision turned a bit hazy until she heard someone yell "Trevor stop!"
She felt something move away from her neck and a drowned out voice telling the other "Buzzkill."
She felt something move closer to her face and the first voice was heard "Your lucky she isn't dead, she could be a snack for Elijah..."
Her head became faint as the voices trailed off and before she knew it, she was out cold once again.
