Katherine and Dorian were sleeping in bed, after saying goodbye to Enzo they had stayed outside with Lyra and Elijah for a bit before going to bed.
Their peaceful sleep was interrupted by Dorian's phone ringing, They both groaned and Dorian moved to answer it "Hello?"
"Dorian, Hi" Stefan's voice was heard through the phone, which made Dorian and Katherine share looks as they both sat up a bit straighter.
Dorian gave Katherine a sleepy grin as he replied "Well hello Handsome, to what do I owe this early call?"
Stefan's breath hitched as he heard Dorian's morning voice, it almost made Stefan's knees buckle. But he kept himself composed and explained "I have a favour to ask" At Dorian's humming, he continued "The others decided that Elena needed a break and 'ordered' me to go with her to her families lake house, I want you to go with me."
Dorian furrowed his brows and looked at Katherine, she just shrugged and laid back down. Dorian rubbed his forehead as he asked "Why would you want me to go with you and your ex?"
"Because it's already awkward with me and Elena because of the breakup and I don't wan't it to be even worse if we are both together at a vacation house"
Dorian sighed and started to get out of bed "Fine, but if Elena does something or starts to get bitchy. I will set her ass on fire."
He hung up before Stefan could say anything else. When he turned to Katherine, she had a raised eyebrow while remarking "You're gonna leave me here to my lonesome?"
"Sadly yes. Elijah and Lyra all left for the history high tea thing and I'm leaving so you are all alone, but in the meantime you can do some research for us?" Dorian asked as he started to put on some clothes.
Katherine leaned against the headboard as she questioned "Research what?"
"A certain dick, Lucien Castle" Dorian revealed as he moved towards the bathroom and started to brush his teeth.
