Sasuke had fallen back asleep at around 5 am, then woke up at about 9 am. He had groggily dragged himself out of bed and made his way out of his room and into the kitchen, where he started to prepare a simple breakfast, cream cheese on a bagel. He placed the cut bagel into the toaster, going on his phone, waiting for it to pop. Sasuke browsed through his phone, looking for a new bookshelf. His old one was breaking, it had fallen over one night when he was fumbling around in the dark, resulting in it breaking because he hadn't secured it to the wall. He had attempted to fix the broken bits, but it just wasn't holding, so he needed to buy a new one.

The hours flew by quickly, Sasuke spent his time writing, or to be exact, procrastinating on writing, and watching T.V. He fell asleep at one point, with whatever had auto played going on in the background, when his alarm shocked him awake. He let out a small gasp, before realizing that it wasn't a call from his publisher and simply just the alarm. Sasuke groaned, trying to hit dismiss and shake off his grogginess.

It was 3:30 pm, meaning Naruto was going to come knocking at his door in about 30 minutes. He had set the alarm so he was able to get ready for his date with the blond. He sighed and got up, making his way to his bedroom. Sasuke rummaged through this dresser drawers for an appropriate outfit to wear on a carnival date with your neighbor.

He decided to go simple, a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans, complete with his black Nike sneakers. He fixed his hair and made his way downstairs just as he heard the doorbell ring. Sasuke snatched his wallet and opened the door to be greeted by Naruto's bright grin, and Sasuke couldn't help but letting out a small smile at the sight of him. "Hey."

"Hey!" Naruto responded, grabbing Sasuke's wrist and pulling him outside, almost causing the raven to stumble down his porch steps. "Woah, hey!" He complained, trying not to trip. Naruto just pulled him along, acting like a child. "Come on! We're going to be late!" The blond said, keeping his grip on his wrist. "How can you be late for a carnival?" Sasuke questioned, and Naruto paused for a moment, giving it a bit of thought, slowing his movements to a walk as they neared his car. "We're going to be late to all the fun!" He decided, and Sasuke shook his head. "Alright then."

They both climbed into the car, and drove the short way to the carnival, chit chatting along the way. When they arrived, Naruto jumped out of the car excitedly, once again grabbing Sasuke's wrist as soon as he made it over to the other side of the car, dragging the raven over to the entrance. He pulled him through the swarm of young children with their parents, getting them into the main area.

"Woah!" Naruto exclaimed, as he marveled at all the sounds and lights going on. Sasuke had to admit that it was fun. Naruto seemed to be overwhelmed by all the choices, and kept rushing from booth to booth, not sure what to play first. Sasuke smiled as he watched the blonde's eyes light up when he saw a ramen stand. "Oh my god, Sasuke, we have to go there," Naruto begged, as if he was a child nagging at his mother to buy him a toy. Sasuke thought for a moment. "You want to get food right away? Why don't we play games and get something to eat after a couple hours?" he suggested, and Naruto sighed, but agreed anyway, still complaining that he was always hungry all the same.

His hunger was soon forgotten though, when he spotted the ring toss game, leading Sasuke over. "Excuse me!" The blond shouted over the bustling noise of the games. The person at the stand smiled and greeted them with an excited "Welcome!"

"One play, please!" Naruto exclaimed, digging into his pockets for his wallet and handing them the money. They smiled and exchanged Naruto's money for 10 rubber rings. He accepted them and turned to look at Sasuke. Watch this. I'm going to get them all on, for sure," he vowed, and Sasuke just shook his head, knowing that the games were rigged for him to lose. Surprisingly, the blond had managed to get the first 4 on with no trouble at all. However, his luck ran out when he tossed the fifth ring, groaning as he watched it bounce off the bottles and onto the ground. The same happened to the sixth and seventh rings, both falling to the floor. Naruto took a deep breath before throwing the eighth ring, this time landing it on a bottle closer to the side with a ricochet off another bottle. "Yes!" He shouted gleefully, and held out the ninth ring, looking back at Sasuke with a smirk. "You have to kiss me if I get this one," he challenged, and Sasuke just shook his head. "We'll see," the raven responded, and Naruto grinned, tossing the ring. Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the results. "I guess your kiss will have to wait," he remarked, as Naruto muttered excuses while he prepared to throw his tenth and final ring, making the shot. "Yes! Let's go!" he yelled, punching the air. He had a total of six rings on the bottles, just one shy from being able to get, at the very least, a small prize.
