Ominis and I stepped through the ending of the tunnel, the room opening up into a shabby, makeshift headquarters of whatever operation these people were running. Seeing this man I front of me in full detail, he was repulsive. He wasn't wearing his bowler hat this time. His hair falling out from bloody sores all over his head. His eyes were that of Goblin eyes, the whole eye being dark and clouded over. His nose was wide and crooked and his teeth were somewhat sharpened, likely his own attempt at sharpened teeth. His gums were rotting and fleshy below his twisted smile. The skin on his face looked like it was slowly melting off. His bottom eyelids showing the red flesh below while his chin drooped down like an iguanas neck skin. His fingers were stained with dry blood and covered in scabs. His fingernails crookedly jutted out from his fingertips, sharp and yellow just like they were when I watched the scene of him at my house.

I swallowed forcefully trying to prevent myself from throwing up at the mere sight of him, not to mention I'm pretty sure that repulsive stench was coming from him.

"Merlin's Beard, what is wrong with you?? I think your biggest concern right now is seeing a doctor dude.. Or taking a shower or something.." I said while I brought my arm up to cover my nose and mouth, trying to prevent myself from breathing in his toxic smell.

His smile dropped at my statement. Being displeased with my remark. "I welcome you in and this is the hospitality I get in return. Perhaps I should teach you manners before we move on. Hm?" He said attempting to be intimidating.

Ominis and I both stood there in awe. My eyebrows raised slightly and my mouth pulled to the side while my nostrils flared in an expression that read "ew.." after a moment of silence I tried to push down a laugh.

"There are A LOT of things I could say in return to the lame things that just left your disgusting mouth, but. I'll just shut up for now because I wanna get a move on. Where are my parents?" I asked while Ominis moved closer to me. Grabbing my arm tightly. He sensed something I didn't. I acknowledged his grasp by leaning into him slightly, furrowing my eyebrows and scanning the room trying to figure out what was wrong. My eyes landed on a sheet covering a body like shape. I narrowed my eyes at it trying to see if it was a human, or if it was moving at all. My attention was snapped back to the man when he clapped his dirty and bloodied hands together. Ominis jolted slightly at the sound.

"WELL! Glad you could join me. You have something I want. And I believe I have ways for you to give it to me." His smile returned and I rolled my eyes.

"Let me guess, you want access to the reservoir of ancient negative magic." I said with boredom. "Look buster, I have dealt with hundreds of people and goblins like you. You think you are the next great mastermind who will gain access to it. I hate to burst your bubble, but even If I were to walk you right up to it, you wouldn't be able to do diddly squat with it because only under extremely special circumstances is anyone able to wield it. I knew I was going to be dealing with a lot of people like you once word got around that I was the new keeper of that magic. So can we please cut the shit and just have you get all pissy about it and attack me so I can kill you, take my parents, and go home." My tone was very matter of fact and calm while his expression remained unchanged.

"Awwweee tsk tsk. Little girl thinks all enemies will be as easy as the last. I know the battles you've gone through, I know your friends, your family, secrets..I know a lot about you which gives me leverage that the others didn't have. I've swayed people to my will easily and had them give me all their knowledge and memories of you. So if you are so anxious to get this over with, then attack me, and I'll end it." He said coyly

"Mmm no I'll pass. I don't ever attack first." I said in defiance.

"Then perhaps some persuasion.." He said as he stepped sideways and motioned his arm to the body like a figure covered by a sheet that I saw earlier. Assuming that he meant to go towards it. I solely wanted cross the room to it, keeping my eyes on him while Ominis gripped my arm, being silent as this exchange unfolded. I stood in front of the covered body and glanced at it before looking back at the fowl man.
