THIS CLASS IS SO BORING. I'm slouched in my seat as the professors words fly over my head. His voice is boring the hell out of me.
I check the clock and there's only one minute left. I packed my bag as the bell rang. Hurrying out of the door, I stand on my tippy toes to look over at peoples heads. I was looking for Ethan. His class is near mine.
Arms wrap around my neck as I spin, Ethan stood there, staring down at me. "How was class?" I stare up blankly.
"Boring as always." I said, laughing a bit. He leans down to steal a quick kiss when I remember where we needed to be.
"Mindy's meeting!" I grab his arm, rushing out of the building and to the courtyard.
"Hey guys, are we late?" Mindy shakes her head.
"Sit," Ethan sits down next to Tara and I'm left standing. There's no space for me. I look at Ethan when he pats his lap.
I don't hesitate and sit down, his arms wrapping around my waste, feeling comfortable and safe.
"Okay nerds, listen up." Mindy starts, looking at every one of us with suspicion. "As terrifying as this all is, I'm actually glad I get a chance to redeem myself for not calling the killers last time."
I feel Ethan shift beneath me. "The way I see it someone is out to make a sequel to the requel." What is she even saying?
Anika stared at her girlfriend with confusion. "What's a requel?" Mindy turns to her and smiles.
"Your beautiful, sweetie. Let's hold questions to the end." Anika nodded with her full attention on Mindy.
I stare at Mindy, ready for her to start another one of her lectures about horror movies.
"Stab one took place in woodsboro."
"Stab two took place in college." Mindy mutters, hoping that we're starting to get it. And I am.
Tara speaks up, "So we think the killer is trying to copy the movies?"
"That's one possibility. Heroes now in college..check." She starts to count her fingers. "Suspicious new characters brought in to round out the suspect list and—or body count..check, check, and check."
I look around at our new friends and then at Ethan. He wouldn't. He loves me. I look at Mindy when she starts to speak again.
"But it can't just be about stab two." Mindy shakes her head. I look over at Tara and she looks confused.
"Why not?" Tara asks.
