I SQUEEZED MY WAY THROUGH A BUNCH of people dressed in their Halloween outfits. Some scarier than others. My arms wrapped around Ethan's big biceps so I wouldn't fall behind. I honestly just wanted to touch his arms. Is that weird?
We walked down the stairs hoping to get the train, fast.
"Is this even a good idea?" Ethan asks. I could tell he was still iffy about us traveling by train.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to." Tara replied, harshly, a little too harshly that I would let fly.
"Let's calm down." I turn to Ethan, sometimes he could be difficult.
"In here." Sam rushed towards the opening doors of the train. We all tried to fight our way through the people that were coming off the train, at some point I didn't feel Ethan right next to me anymore.
Sam grabbed Tara and I onto the train. Following behind were Chad and Danny.
"Mindy! Mindy!" Chad called out for her but she had just missed the train. Her hands pounding on the glass windows of the sliding doors.
We all got settled in as the train started to move. "Where's Mindy?" Sam asked, looking around in hopes of spotting her. "She missed the train."
"Where's Ethan?" I started to look around myself in hopes of spotting him too. No luck.
The lights start to flicker, making me scoot closer towards Tara.
"It's okay, it's fine, she's with Ethan. She'll meet us there." Chad had probably got a text from her as he was looking down at his phone.
"Oh shit." Chad mutters, looking straight with a cold expression on his face. We all looked over, I would also say oh shit.
Someone in a ghostface mask was there, standing. And there was also a bunch of different kinds of people in scary masks. I was scared. I wanted to be with Ethan.
"How many stops do we have?" I asked, I don't know how much longer I can take this. My breathing was starting to fall out of line, my palms were sweating on the pole I was holding onto. I was slowly becoming a mess. Fuck.
Sam looked around as the lights start to flicker again, "Ten." I cursed lowly. Ten was too many. I couldn't possibly hold that long, I was freaking out. The ongoing light flickering wasn't helping my case at all.
