When he arrives at the Sanctum, he is broken, bloodied, and bruised. He would eat, but he only has so much food. He brings out the master sword, wincing as it burns his palm. The blue light it emits banished the malice flakes floating in the air, resting, burning his skin, filling his lungs and choking him. He steps inside the room, and the fight begins.

Had he already fought Ganon? Link slapped himself. Of course he hadn't. There was still malice everywhere. He needed to kill Ganon, save Zelda. He stepped into the room, and he fights the Calamity.
