SCHOOL GARDEN

Divine and Luxury silently let the fresh air from the flowers kiss their skin. After eating their lunch together a moment ago, they decided to stay in the garden for a while. Thankfully, they both have 1-hour vacant hour before their 1st-afternoon class starts.



LUXURY:
Ehem!




DIVINE:
What?




LUXURY:
Ah . . . Ano kasi, madam . . . Hehe.





Luxury lightly scratched his nape as he bowed his head a little, enough to hide his reddish face from Divine's sight. Divine suddenly frowned because of his action.





DIVINE:
Are you sick?

LUXURY:
Ha? Hindi, madam!




DIVINE:
Then? What's with you?





LUXURY:
Gusto ko lang sanang sabihin na hindi muna kita maihahatid ngayon sa work mo.


DIVINE:
Ok?


LUXURY:
Hindi ka naman magagalit, 'di ba?




DIVINE:
Bakit naman ako magagalit?


LUXURY:
E, kasi . . .


DIVINE:
Look, Luxury . . . I understand what you're trying to say, but you are not obligated to drive me to my work almost every day. Actually, wala ka naman talagang obligasyon sa akin. You can do whatever you want to do without consulting me.



Luxury silently listens to Divine as the latter slowly speaks out her words for him to understand. 



And while listening to every word she say, Luxury didn't know why he somehow felt uncomfortable. He wanted to cut her words and tell her he wanted to have an obligation to her. That he wanted to be part of her life somehow. But as she finishes her sentence, Luxury just finds himself unable to open his mouth. Because truth be told, Divine only sees him as someone she has a depth with.
