It had been a few days since Kiba's injury, I told him to rest up and he should be fine. Today after school, I was going to meet up with him to hunt down Excalibur.
I made my way to school and I saw Sona talking with two members of the church, both were carrying holy swords. I walked away and made my way to class, soon the day was over and I was in the ORC.
Issei: Where's Kiba?
Koneko: Looks like someone decided to take the whole day off, must be nice.
Soon Sona walked in wanting to talk to Rias. She said that we would be visited my the church tomorrow. I would have to relay this information to Kiba later.
I found Kiba in the park, and told him the situation.
Kiba: Your sure that they had holy swords?
Y/n: Absolutely, fragments of Excalibur judging by the arua. They'll be coming by the club tomorrow, you should be there.
Kiba: I'll be there, but I won't be at school.
Y/n: Alright, we'll destroy Excalibur together.
Kiba: Why...why are you so willing to help me?
Y/n: Because, your my friend, and I don't have many of those. I will not let you die. Even if it means going against everyone.
Kiba: I...I don't know what to say, thank you.
Y/n: We are brothers in arms, my sword is there whenever you need it.
We hugged real quick, before I made my way home to prepare for tomorrow.
...
The next day
We were all in the ORC clubroom, Kiba was still nowhere to be seen, but I could sense him near by. In front of us sat the two church members, one with blue hair with a green highlight and the other with chestnut hair and pink eyes.
Blue Hair: Thank you for agreeing to meet with us today. My name is Xeznovia.
Chestnut Hair: And I'm Irina Shidou.
(Sorry if I spelled the names wrong)
Rias: It's fascinating that members of a church want to meet with a devil.
Irina: It does seem random, let me explain. There are currently six swords we can account for, three of them are still with the church but the other three were stolen by fallen angels.
Xeznovia: These are from the ones we have left, this one is mine it's known as the holy sword of destruction.
Irina: And this one is mine, it's known as the sword of mimicry. It's an Excalibur mimic!
Rias: Well what is it that you would like for us to do?
Xeznovia: Stay completely out of it, this is between us and the fallen angels. Let's keep it simple, we don't need the devils in this town to intervene.
Y/n: That sounds like an accusation. Are you afraid that we'll side with the fallen angels and keep you from obtaining the holy swords?
Xeznovia: We know that for devils, a holy sword is a detestable thing. Would it not make more sense for you to side with the fallen?
Myself and Rias were starting to get pissed off.
Xeznovia: And if that's true, we'll have no choice but to utterly annihilate you. Even if you are then little sister of the devil king, and Head of the house of Lucifer.
Rias: If you already have us figured out, let me share something with you. There is no way I would think of joining the fallen. I would never besmirch the name of the house of Gremory.
Xeznovia: It's enough for me to hear you say that. I honestly didn't think you two would be that stupid.
Y/n: Good to know, then I hope you understand that we will not provide aid to your side either?
Xeznovia: Of course, I trust that we will prevail if you do not interfere.
Rias: You have my word on that. Would you like some tea before you go?
Xeznovia: No thanks, I'm not here to make friends with devils.
They started to walk out until they saw Asia.
Xeznovia: I was wondering if visiting the home of Issei would led us to you. Aren't you Asia Aregento?
Asia: Umm, yes.
Xeznovia: It figures I'd run into a witch in a place like this.
Y/n: That's enough! I will not sit by while you shame my people!
Xeznovia: I was not shaming her senselessly.
Y/n: If you bring any harm to her, I will burn you to ash!
Xeznovia: Are you prepared to take on the entire church?
Y/n: Your damn right I am! Isn't that right, Kiba?
Kiba: This is perfect we'll take all of you on.
Xeznovia: And who are you?
Kiba: Your superior, nice to meet you.
A fight between myself and Kiba, against Xeznovia and Irina was setup and we moved to the back of the building.
Y/n: Which one do you want Kiba?
Kiba: I'll take the blue haired one.
Y/n: Alright, Ares I call upon your power!
Xeznovia: The champion of Ares?!
Y/n: Damn straight!
I took my place in front of Irina, my fight didn't last long. I sent out my arua the same way I did at the engagement party which knocked Irina into a tree, knocking her out.
Kiba's fight didn't go as well, he was hit by the holy sword and fell to the ground. Xeznovia then ran at me, only to be hit by the same power as Irina.
Y/n: We're done here, Kiba you ok?
Kiba: I'm fine, thanks.
Issei: How did you know Kiba would be here bro?
Y/n: Lucky guess is all.
Xeznovia: It was a pleasure to fight you champion of Ares.
Y/n: The pleasure was mine, but if you are in my way again I will slit your throat quicker than you can blink.
Xeznovia: Noted.
They left soon after that, and I made my way over to Kiba.
Y/n: I'll see you later tonight ok?
Kiba: Right, thanks again.
Kiba then walked away without talking to anyone else. Rias tried to stop him to no avail. I left shortly after to get ready for later tonight.
The church has been introduced, and we're coming to the end of the holy sword arc.
