Chapter 5: Blood in the darkness

Toga pranced down the street. People drove past her unknowing.Dabi watched as she skipped towards the alley way.He ignited his hand in blue flames.

" Ahh! No,no please, T-take whatever you want. Money, jewelry, anything." Toga acted.Dabi kept walking forward towards her. Hawks watched as he flew down. He snached Toga and pulled her aside, as planned.Dabi instantly made a ring of blue fire around them. Hawks sent some of his feathers towards Dabi but he dodged them.The plan is working.Citezens watched in horror, as Hawks seemed to be struggling. Citizens saw Shigaraki come up from behind. The flames grew higher and higher, as Hawks slipped out and into the alley way.The flames died down and Citizens saw as the only people standing where Dabi and Shigaraki. Shigarki suddenly felt more flowers welling up in his throat.

" D-dabi, time to go." He choked out. Citezens froze in shock as the number two hero seemed to have been decayed. Dead. Dabi and Shigarki ran back to the base. 

" So... Did-did it work?" Hawks asked out of breath.

" Ya bet." Dabi smirked." You should've seen their faces." he laughed.

" So whats the villain name?" Twice asked with excitement.

" Kegio." Hawks said as he regained his breathing.

" Amazing, what does it mean?" Toga with stars in her eyes.

" Nothing, same as yours, your villain name is your name, so is mine." Hawks smirked.

"Kegio, Kegio...." Toga questioned.

" Kegio Takami's the name,don't wear it out." Hawks smiled.

" Yesss! Oh yeah, official member of the league, oh yeah." Twice sang and he side hugged Kegio. Dabi sat on the couch with his feet up on the coffee table as he turned on the news.

" Breaking News. This just in, the number two hero Hawks has been murdered by two members of The League of Villains. Hawks was seen trying to save a younge girl from the Villain Dabi, moments later Hawks was trapped in a blaze of fire while citizens in the area watched as Tomura Shigaraki disintegrated the number two hero to dust. The news reporter announced. Everyone turned to listen to the tv.

" Now for the Wing Hero Hawk's four years as a hero, starting from the age of Eighteen.We take a moment of silence to remember all the great things he has done for Japan's safety and community..." The League stood in silence. Kegio watched the screen as it showed photos of him as a hero. The pictures showed his signing posters for fans, his battle with Endevor against the Nomus.

" Hawks, otherwise known as Keigo Takami is Japan's No. 2 Pro Hero despite his young age. At the age of eighteen Keigo opened his own Hero Agency and ranked among the top 10 Pro Heroes of Japan within the year, becoming the youngest hero to do so. His quirk called Fierce Wings bestows Hawks with a set of red feathery wings on his back." The Reporter explained. Dabi turned off the tv.

" Welp, your dead.Im dead too." Dabi threw his hands up into the air.

" Dabi you're not dead right here." Toga giggled.

" No, everyone thinks i'm dead, I even have a grave." Dabis tone turned more serious.

" Huh? What? Dabi, you never told us your story. Everyone else but you and Ha- I mean Kegio haven't." Toga pouted as she lumped in a bean bag chair.

" Never mind it, It's none of your bizness." He swatted at her.

" Dabi, pleeaassse." Toga sang.

" Fine.." Dabi signed. Hawks sat next to Dabi on the couch as he already knew Dabi's story. Twice sat crossed legged on the floor next to Toga. Shigarki sat at the bar seeming not to care but really he did.

" Alright... My true name is Touya Todoroki. Im am Endeavors oldest son. My mother and my son of a bitch of a father were put into an arranged marriage to create a strong kid with a strong quirk. With my fathers fire and my mothers ice quirk, he hoped for a child with both quirks. Unfortunately I only acquired one,fire but I can withstand cold temperatures like my mother. My fire was so strong that Enji had me undergo training with me. One day he decided I wasn't good enough anymore, I continued to try again and again to impress him with my quirk but failed." Dabi clenched his fists into balls.

" Wow, the first son of Endeavor..." Tice stared at Dabi in shock. Shigarki had now come over to the others and was leaning against the wall.

" What about the scars?" Shigarki asked choking on Flowers growing faster and larger in his throat and chest.

" I tried to show my father how powerful my quirk was when I lost control of my flames. The fires I had created reached a heat of 3,632 degrees fahrenheit.Thats hotter than lava or any file known to man. Those flames would cremate a whole group of people in one go. I escaped the fires but was burned in the process. My tear ducts burned so I am unable to cry." Dabi explained more.

" Wow this makes me hate Endeavor more." Toga scrunched up her face. Shigaraki slipped out of the room and down the hall to the bathroom.Shigaraki knelt to the sink. His hands gripped the sink with his pinkies up. Fir lilies and blood flowed from his lips.

" Kegio, what's your story.?" Shigarki could hear Twice ask.

" I lived in extreme poverty with my father and mother. My father was a robber and my mother helped him, I accidentally was born. A mistake you could say. I was abused by my father physically and Verbally, He wished that I was never born. I distracted myself by watching pro heroes." Hawks signed as he slumped farther into the couch." My mother snuck me out of the house for a while, when I got an Endeavor push toy, I started to idolize him, as the push doll was my first real possession. My father was arrested as my mother and I had to flee our house as he was housing a criminal. One day I was approached by Hero Public Safety after I had saved some people from a car crash at the age of six.My mother let me go to train to become a hero one day, and hoped it would bring me a better life." Hawks continued to explain.

" Cool, you both have amazing backstories." Twice and Toga sang in unison.
