T W O : banquet

People were talking when Taehyung entered with his guards in the royal
palace, the crowd parted and hushed, bowing as he passed by them, they started whispering to one another.

> "Is he really attending the banquet? It's very rare for him to attendant any event."

> "He's changing the whole aura. He has become more furious."

> "He's so handsome but for what? He has a black heart."

> "3rd prince is getting married soon, maybe that's why he has come here."

> "He's the absolute worst. Thank God he's no where in the line of becoming the crown prince. He's already so remorseless with the power he has, can you imagine what he will do once he'll get the throne?" He gasped.

Taehyung was hated by people but respected at the same time because of the terror, people respected him out of fear, they would never want to mess with him.They were aware of it that;
~Whoever messes with him or comes in his way, dies~

You were walking in the royal palace with your father and your step-sister

when Mina (your step-sister) spoke, gazing at you.

Mina: "Why have you dressed so dull? You should've asked for my help. Are you going to disappoint the 3rd prince?" She scoffed.

With a heavy sigh you rolled your eyes.

Y/n: "Im good dear sister, you look stunning though, nice dress."

You said, giving her a phony smile. 'Seems like you've groomed yourself for my part too."

She gritted her teeth, glaring at you. Your step-sister was jealous of you even when you had nothing, now that you had the 3rd prince, she was restless since the day he fell in love with you. She wanted to snatch everything you had. You knew she was beautifully dressed in a hope that she might be able to entice the 3rd prince.

Without a doubt, she was really beautiful, and she was also very intelligent and talented, quiet popular for being perfect, but you didn't care about it at all, you believed if Hyunjin loved you he would not step back, and if he did step back, he never loved you.

This bitch! Mina thought.

Father: "3rd prince is coming towards our way" He said, clearing the air.

Your gaze went to the 3rd Prince (Hyunjin), the charming, the handsome. His hair were like the waves of the ocean, his eyes in the sunlight were like honey. His gaze was stuck only on you.

You met him for the first time a year ago when you found him badly injured in the bank of a river, you didn't know he was a prince since he was wearing ordinary clothes, you helped him and saved his life.

After that he would come to meet you often, he didn't reveal he was a prince for six months, in fact he pretended to be really poor to see if you'd still care about him since you also belonged to a royal family but you still fell for him because he was really nice to you. He was impressed by your simplicity and sincerity

Looking at him, a wide smile spread across your face.

In your miserable life, he was the only person who could make you feel happy, who could make you forget all your worries.

Father: "Your highness." He said, bowing. He would also respect you in front of the prince.

Mina: "Brother-in-law, I'm Mina, we haven't met before. I'm going to be your soon sister-in-law."

She told him, bowing, smiling widely.
He returned her a slight smile,

and again dropped his gaze to you.
You bowed your head, smiling at him.

Y/n: "Your highness."

He blinked.

Hyunjin: "Haven't I told you? I like it when you call me by my name."

You lowered your eyes nervously.

Y/n: "Not in front of everyone."

He took some steps closer to you.

Hyunjin: " don't mind, I like it and I don't care what others think."

He said, making you blush.

Mina cursed internally seeing him so in love with you.

Hyunjin: "I really can't wait to get married to you." He told you while walking in the garden of the royal palace. A smile formed on your lips and your cheeks flushed.

Y/n: "Me too."

You had met everyone in the royal palace before, except for Taehyung because he never was present there the times you visited. But today you met his family specifically as the official fiance of the 3rd prince and now you and the 3rd prince (Hyunjin) were going to get married soon. You still had to meet Taehyung but you were never curious about him.

You were walking with Hyunjin when you both ran into Taehyung, he was passing by, he stopped, looking at you.

Minhyuk: "She's his fiance, Mr. Choi's daughter, Y/n." He mumbled to Taehyung.

Hyunjin: "Brother."

He grabbed you by your hand and took steps closer to Taehyung. He sounded as if he was mocking when he said 'brother.
Minhyuk bowed in front of Hyunjin.

Hyunjin:"Y/n. He's my elder brother, the 2nd prince, Kim Taehyung." You bowed.

So he is the 2nd prince whose mother was the queen but then she was abolished for treason. You thought. I've heard a lot about him, seeing him in person, he do look like someone who's selfish and cruel. No Y/n! Judging too soon is not good. Even though you were not curious, seeing him, you got curious for some reasons.

Hyunjin: ""I'm glad you came, you must be really excited about my marriage."

His mocking speech remained the same but undetected. Taehyung took steps closer to Hyunjin, meeting his gaze in a sharp glare.

Hyunjin smirked. You were just looking at them in perplexity.

Taehyung glanced at you for a moment and then he walked away, leaving you dumbfounded.

What?! he's so rude even to his own brother, he didn't even say anything. Well, Now i can judge him. You thought.

Y/n: "Is something wrong with the 2nd prince?"

You asked. Hyunjin didn't seem to have a good relation with Taehyung and it became obvious when he said.

Hyunjin: "He's just like that, forget about him." He placed his hand on your shoulder. "Let's go." He said, smiling.

Hyunjin was going to become the crown prince and Taehyung was not even in the line because of what his mother did in the past and he couldn't be trusted by anyone after that. Hyunjin used to look at Taehyung as a nuisance and would feel threatened by him, he was just waiting to become the crown prince so he could move Taehyung out of his way.

Taehyung was aware of Hyunjin's intentions and he was doing his best not to let Hyunjin become the crown prince but how long could he stop that, Hyunjin was bound to become the crown prince but Taehyung wanted to have the throne at any cost.

Taehyung huffed

Taehyung: "Was he taunting me?!" He said angrily, in a voice of repressed irritation. "Why don't I kill him first?!" He clenched his fist, trying to reel his temper.

Minhyuk: "My Lord, he was just trying to bother you, don't pay attention to him."

Taehyung: "He wanted me to show that he's about to become the crown prince? He scoffed. "He won't get married to her anyway because she's going to die." He said with a smirk.
