King: "I'm so overwhelmed by what happened yesterday:"

He said to The Queen who was sitting next ho him with her head on his shoulder.

The king was really impressed by Taehyung. He knew in the royal family, everyone put their own life as their first priority and everything comes after that.

But thinking that Taehyung decided to save him putting his life in danger made him feel quite good.

Queen: "You're really happy about it."

She gave him a false smile.

King:" Yes, did you see? He took a knife for me. He didn't care he could die." He said, smiling. "What do you think, it means he forgave me for what happened in the past?"

Queen: "It was not your mistake. She scoffed nervously.
"His mother was a sinner, whatever you did, it was right. There was
nothing for him to get upset with you at the first place."

King: "You dont know. The day when he distanced himself from the palace, he told me so many things and I still
remember evey word."

He said, letting out a deep sigh.

"After that he never complained, but l want him to complain, I want him to tell me everything he has in his heart and get over with it. His silence, his cold behavior, it makes me think he still hates me for that."

The King thought he has always been so cold towards Taehyung but Taehyung still thought about him before himself.

Queen: "You're thinking too much."

She caressed on his shoulder.

"Im sure he is not thinking about any of it now. He was a young kid then, he has grown up now, he can understand your situation."

King: "I hope so."

Why now all of a sudden he started thinking about Taehyung?

She thought. I shouldn't feel threatened by it, Taehyung can never have the throne anyway. She put on a phony smile and glanced at the King.

Hyunjin: "What about those assassins who attacked The King? are they in prison?"

He asked to his spy, who had came to his room to deliver him the information.

Spy: "They escaped yesterday before they were sent to the prison."

He replied, his gaze on the ground, head down.

Hyunjin: "They escaped?" He was relieved yet a little surprised.

Spy: "Yes, your highness, they were well trained in martial arts, they beat all the guards up and ran away. But the royal guards are still in their search."

Hyunjin nodded, thinking about it.

Hyunjin: "Alright, you can go now."

The spy did a deep bow and left the room.

When he was about to left, he saw Mina coming towards the room, he bowed.

Spy: "Greetings, princess consort Then he left, bowing.

Who's he? Never saw him before. She thought, gazing at him walking away.

Then she flinched and went to the room.

Mina spoke as soon as she entered in the room.

Mina: "Hyunjin, I need your help!"

He gazed up at her with unhappy face.
