He stared at you for few moments and then walked away.

In Lord Taehyung's mansion.

Minhyuk was waiting for Taehyung to come back when he entered in the
mansion, he went towards him.

Minhyuk: "What happened? Where's she? Taehyung glared at him.

Taehyung:"i saved her from my assassins." He said. "Now where is she, how is she, this is not my concern and nor it should be yours"

Minhyuk: "i know l just-"

Taehyung: Minhyuk." He cut him off. "Don't think I saved her because
of that little speech you gave me. I saved her because I had no reason
to kill her. I'm already in a bad mood right now so don't mention things
that irritate me:' Minhyuk lowered his head.

Taehyung:" know what you're trying to do but I dont care about anyone and you know that better, when I was at the worst phase of my life l was alone, I had no one by my side do you know why? Because people are selfish, even your own family will not support you at times. In this world of selfish people you have to become worse than the others, only then you would be able to survive & that's what I have learned, that's the only thing life had taught me."

Minhyuk knew him since he was little and he knew he had reasons
because of which he was so heartless, but sometimes his evil side would scare him, thinking of what he would do with people when he Would get the throne used to horrify him.

Taehyung:"All these people stood against me! They used to call me son of a sinner and they still do! They wanted to kill me!" His eyes turned red, recalling the horrifying past. "Nobody, not even a single person looked at me with sympathetic eyes. His voice lost its edge and got it back in a sinister one. "But now, when I see those people looking at me with fearful eyes I feel l've achieved something already, only the throne is yet to be mine."

That evil look in his eyes was enough to destroy the stones, those sharp eyes were waiting to tear out everyone who once brought tears in them.
Entering in his room, he slammed the door behind him.

He was really frustrated of how things changed like that, he didn't expect that would happen, Hyunjin was going to get married the next day and he couldn't do anything about it.
He had to start working according to his plan, before it was too late.

You woke up that cloudy morning and found yourself lying near a tree.
You roamed your head around with half closed eyes, and brushed the
dust off your clothes while standing up

Where is Hyunjin? You thought, you realise he was no where around
Was that a dream? You slightly furrowed your brows. No I remember
everything vividly. The thoughts in your head were confusing you more, if he was Hyunjin where did he go,

why didn't he take you with him?

Was he not Hyunjin?

You had no time to think about that, you thought your mother would be
Worried about you because she is easily afraid and first you should go
to her.You breathed a deep sigh turning around, you walked away.

At Choi Geung's mansion.

As you entered in the house, your maid came running to you, she looked
flustered.

Maid: "Miss, y-your mother, m-madam she. she passed away" She said, leaving you stunned, your brain stopped functioning for a moment.

Y/n: "W-what?! Wh-when?" You stuttered.
