Love Affair w/ My Ex-Husband

~Later that same day~

There was a subtle knock on the front of Baekhyun's door. Baekhyun looked up from his MacBook. "Come in." He says in a annoyed tone.

"I know you're not going to give me attitude just 30 minutes before my shift ends." Rowoon says as he enters his large yet elegant office.

"The hell you want?" Baekhyun groans as he was focused on his computer screen and he moves the mouse pad around his desk.

"It is almost the end of the day man. What the hell is up with you today?" Rowoon approaches his desk and he sits down on a rolling chair as he lays his head back.

"I saw my ex for the first time in 7 years." Baekhyun turns off his computer.

"Your ex? As in Esther?! You saw her?!" Rowoon sits up

"Yeah. She works as a receptionist for me." Baekhyun face palms himself. "I also thought about the first time we met. I haven't thought about her since 5 years ago."

"But isn't Youngjae in charge of the interviews? He must certainly know." Rowoon asks.

"Youngjae or anyone in the company doesn't know that Esther is my ex-wife. Only you and Na-bi know. Not even Taeyong." Baekhyun sighs.

"Damn. So what's going to happen now?" Rowoon asks. "You're not going to run after her, are you?" He asks.

"I'm not that stupid man. I have a girlfriend whom I'm in a relationship with. She probably has moved on with her life and she probably has a man as well." Baekhyun says.

"It is what's best for everyone man. We can't let your personal feelings get in the way of work. The anniversary of Crystal Entertainment is coming up and we can't afford any distractions."

"I know. I just can't let the company or the business industry know that my ex-wife is working for me." Baekhyun says.

"Besides, what did you came here for in the first place?" Baekhyun asks as he sits up on his chair.

"Oh that's right! The tech team who has a presentation with you and the other leaders on Friday morning, just advise me that they want to reschedule the session to next week due to a member of the team being sick."

"Fine with me." Baekhyun sighs. "I was going to postpone their meeting to some other time. Either way, I have too many meetings with some of my sponsors."

The weekend finally arrived and Esther slept in late since all this week she's been a complete wreck. Nothing, but Baekhyun lingering in her sleepless nights.

Jake, who is an early bird, was already up, while Mina was already out shopping for groceries. Jake ran to his mom's room.

He knocked on the door a couple of time, but she didn't answer. He looks both ways in the hallway and he enters her room.

He saw his mom snoring lightly as he tries to not to giggle out loud. An idea hatched in his mind as he headed to the window.

As he was about to grab the curtain, he heard his mom mumbling, "Baekhyun... I miss you so much..."
