I felt like my whole world crashed
"What happened?" I asked
"She's been poisoned" Yuriko said
Whoever did this will pay
Mateo POV
I get a call from Jay and she tells me Saint has been poisoned and is in a coma
I asked her what hospital and she told me and I was about to be on my way there but Mary needed a ride so I asked her where she stays and went to get her
We both walked into the hospital and i seen Jay and yumeko talking
"You came" Jay said coming up to me and hugged me
"Of course I did, where is mom?" I asked
"She's in the room with Saint" she said
"How is Saint doing?" Mary asked concerned
"The doctors stopped the poison before it did any more damage but they said she will be in a coma for a while" Jay explained
"Can I see her?" I asked
"Yeah they said only 2 people at a time though and only 1 person can stay overnight if they want" Jay said
"Which room is it?" I asked
"Room 101" she said and her and yumeko went to sit back down
"Okay come on Mary" I said
Me and Mary went to down the hall and to the right and knocked on room 101 door
We waited for an answer
"Come in" mom said
We walked in and I saw mom give saint a kiss on the forehead and gave me and Mary a hug
"How is she?" Mary asked looking at her heart monitor
"She's doing better then when I first found her in her room this morning" she said honestly
Mary nodded
"Mom what kind of poison was it?" I asked
"I don't know they wouldn't tell me, that Kirari girl and her sister came to visit and some more girls they all left flowers and gifts even 4 new girls I never seen before" she said
"They had the whole hospital surrounded with security and media and cameras I could barely get in the room with my own daughter" she said
"That must been the student council and momobami clan" Mary said to me
"Yeah and the 4 new people must been the people we saw at that gamble" I said
She nodded
"Did those 4 new people tell you their name" Mary asked mom
"Yeah the names were Sachiko Juraku, Mikura Sado, Tsuzura Hanatemari and Yukimi Togakushi they told me they were a friends of yours" she said to Mary
"Hmm those names do sound familiar" Mary said thinking on it
"Wait a minute so you knew them?" I asked Mary
"I used to go to school with them but I haven't seen them in a while" Mary said
"So why acted like you didn't know them at all" I asked questioning her
"You don't think they were apart of reason saint is here do you?" I asked walking up to her
"I don't know I told you I haven't seen them in a while!" She exclaimed
"Hey it's okay" mom said coming to hug Mary
"I'm sorry" I said patting her back
She nodded
"Let's go back to yumeko" Mary said
"Alright, see ya later mom" I said hugging her
"See y'all later and y'all be careful and Mary back Jay back to this room before y'all leave okay?" Mom told Mary
"Yes ma'am" she said and we left
We walked back to the lobby and see Jay laying her head on yumeko shoulder
"Come on Jay your mom wants me to bring you back to the room" she said
"Okay, see you later yumeko" she said and hugged her
"See you later Jay!" Yumeko said and hugged her back
"See you later kiddo" I said and hugged Jay
"See you later bro" she said to me and gave me a fist bump
Her and Mary walked away
"Saint's mom told me Kirari and her crew was here" yumeko said
"Yeah she told us that too and she said 4 other women came to visit she never met before" I said Informing yumeko
"Oh you talking about the women that was at the gamble we didn't know right?" Yumeko asked
"Yeah the one with the white hair really did look suspicious" I said
Yumeko nodded
"What did Mary say about the whole thing?" yumeko asked
"The women actually told saint's mom that they were a friend of Mary's" I said
"Oh really?" Yumeko asked
"Yeah and I'm thinking So the same day they show up saint gets poisoned like Don't you find that suspicious" I ask her
"Hell yeah that definitely sounds suspicious"
"Which begs the question Who do you think poisoned Saint?" I asked yumeko
"I don't know But we have to get to the bottom of this" she said
"Get to the bottom of what?" Mary asked
"Speak of the devil" I whispered to yumeko
Yumeko gave me a knowing look
"To the bottom of who poisoned Saint" yumeko spoke up
"Yeah we should work together to figure this out just us three" Mary said
I raised my eyebrow at Mary
"What? , Look I told you I haven't seen them in a while I don't have anything to do with Saint getting poisoned" Mary said
"Yeah but you already knew them and parented you didn't plus saint got sick after the gamble the same day they showed up" yumeko Said
"I was literally sitting next to you guys it's no way I would be involved in this and plus I like saint so why I do anything to hurt her" Mary said trying to defend herself
I looked at yumeko and she nodded
"We will trust you" yumeko said
"But you need to Tell us what you know you about them" I said
"Okay let's walk and talk " she said me and yumeko followed her
"So do y'all want the whole story or a short version?" she asked
"Start from the beginning" I said
Yumeko got out an notebook to write everything down
"Well I used to go to school with all of them but only Tsuzura Hanatemari and Yukimi Togakushi were my friends" Mary said honestly
"Okay and what about the tall one and the one with red hair" yumeko questioned
"They were a pain in my ass" Mary said and laughed bitterly
"How so?" She asked
" She had the power to do everything she wanted she wanted to make an house pet" Mary said
"Awe hell she sounds like a snake" I said putting my hand on my forehead
"And that's not even the worst part" Mary said
