Chapter 5 - Distractions.

~Jonah's POV~

Currently, we have been driving for 10 minutes, around and about.
"So, how are you feeling?" I asked Adam.
"Tired."
"Do you have a headache?"
"What tf are you, my therapist?"
"Just answer the question!"
"Okay, okay, fine! I just have a bit of a headache. Kinda. It's just a little bit though so you don't need to worry."
"Alright whatever you say.."
As we kept driving for another...20? 30? Was it 40? I can't seem to remember how many minutes passed by before we were nearby a park.
The park was near a forest though.
Near.
Not super close, but pretty far.
I didn't realize there was a tree 8 feet in front of us until Adam looked at the front (because he was looking at the side through his window yk yk) and screamed "JONAH!!".
I did a tight turn and we both mentally sighed in relief.
I mean at least that's what I think.
I was mentally sighing but was Adam?
Meh.
Those are questions for another day.
After the tight turn, I was a bit paranoid but shook it off.
Probably nothing.
Except the fact that Adam literally made me deaf-
Joking...joking.

I'm not that funny, am I?

"JONAH WATCH OUT!"
was all that I heard before focusing back onto the real world.
What I saw infront of us shocked me.
It terrified me.
Horrified me.
