"Do you like soup? I like soup! It's very good, right y/n? don't you like it? Is it good?" Gregory was way more chattery today. Today I'm staying in bed, and apparently Dave is filling in for me. I haven't discussed to him what happened to me in case he would've gone full on dad mode on me. Probably not the greatest idea but hey, I am living in a normal life of a fanfic.

"Gregory- the soup is okay, do not worry..??" There was silence among us for a moment. Gregory seemed still, and just solely just .. traumatized. I don't know, he just seemed so off the best word I could described was just- sad and shocked.. traumatized. This kid has seen and dealt with enough, especially with his age.

"You almost died."

"Im sorry?"

"You aren't even reacting to it at all. You accepted it and you were willing to leave me. You were willing to leave me and Sun and moon and our friends! How do you think what happened affects any of us?! Don't you have concerns for us too?!"

"Gregory, it's complicated and I don't wanna tell you so much since you're still a growing kid—"

"IM- I'm getting older! I know things! I know people die everyday, people steal! People betray others, people drink, people leave their kids out on the streets because they don't love them anymore!" He yelled at me as he seemed so frustrated with me. It shocked me, he was clearly yelling out his feelings. His face.. it was red. He was mad and looks as if he was about to cry.

I was blank before realizing what he was saying. I put the soup bowl on the counter and lifted the blanket, standing up. I was slightly surprised with how much I healed quickly from last night and now. "Gregory, I'm so sorry I made you feel this way. You know, none of this is your fault." I tell him, bending down.

I hear someone enter through the balcony, then entering the room. "I heard some yelling, Dave wanted me to check on you.." Moon spoke softly as he clearly see us in a situation. "Is everything okay up here?" He asked. "No! It's not okay! How are you and sun not upset about what happened last night?! You can just go back to work like nothing happened?!" Gregory shouted at moon which caused the man of the night to raise a brow. (If he had any..)

"We're daycare attendants.. we're programmed to withdrawal over the emotional feelings we have that can disturb our performance towards kids. Otherwise, whether we remove that program or not, we do simply care for y/n. We process it differently. Sun is more emotional, we can talk to him too.. I'm sure he'll be happy too—"

"Y/n accepted the fact they were gonna die! My parent!"

Moon bit his lip for a moment as he looked at me then at gregory. He sighed as he slowly picked gregory up, "Hey.. I know. I'm sure the moment was heated.. sometimes people just give up when they know they might possibly die.. and I'm sure you're scared, right? How about we go down to the daycare and see where Sunny is.. okay? I'm sure if you feel upset, he can relate to you on what you're feeling."

"So you don't feel ANYTHING for what happened?!" Gregory angrily spoke as he clenched his fists. "No no.. I do.. I just.. I am not the emotional type. Sighs I just believe you will have more comfort with Sun. But I can try if you want to speak with me." Moon smile slightly but gregory seemed so upset. He was silent before speaking, "If you want gregory, there's this place i can put you in and you can stay alone to think about your feelings and .. have a moment to breathe. Come on, I'll show you." Moon spoke as he and Gregory transcended down to the daycare.

I was left alone up here. I felt horrible, I didn't know what to say or do. I never knew how to take care of children that.. well, had this emotional attachment to me. An attachment to the point where they'll see me as their parent. What am I supposed to do..

I suddenly hear static. Static coming from one of the machines in the room. I raised a brow as I slowly walked towards it. "Hello?" I stupidly called out. The static became louder as it was starting to hurt my ears but I heard a faint whisper.. one I cannot make out.

"Hello?"

It was finally night and I stood in front of the mirror. Vanny was right, bunny could definitely heal faster than anything. "This is strange, this shouldn't be
possible.. but it's not impossible, is it?" Sun asked as he checked my wound that had now disappeared. "What does this mean.." I mumbled. "Maybe you truly have Bunny's abilities! That's really cool if you think about it.. hey, uh.. have you spoke to gregory?" Sun asked as his rays spun a bit.

"No, why?" I asked. "I tried to talk to them this morning but.." I hesitated as I looked away. Sun sighed as he wrapped an arm around my waist. "Haru, children are vulnerable and their minds are so sensitive in certain places.." he spoke softly. "What happened did hurt. A lot.. moon and I, we just.. we felt so scared. I mean, Vanny? She's with us now?"

I nodded as I kept my eyes on the floor, biting my lip as I fumbled with my fingers. "Sunshine, I love you." Sun suddenly turned towards me and held my hands. "And I want you to know, that anything you go through.. anything that happens.. me and moon will be there for you. We love gregory, truly. You guys are like.. a part of our lives now. At first we were just mere daycare attendants, but now?"

He smiled softly as he caressed my face.

"I think you're the one best thing that changed our lives. So please, don't give up. Gregory needs you.. we need you. You're one of the best people here." Sun concluded as he lightly touched my face. I was silent before smiling gently. "Sunny.. I'm so glad I met all of you." I hugged him as I slowly cried out my feelings. "It's just.. it's been so hard." I spoke as I cried into his arms.

"It has.. but I have a feeling.. one day when me and moon, and our precious y/n will live happily ever after.. if not, then we'll just have to make out." He shrugged as he smiled goofily. "You're such a cheesy dork.." I say giggling. Sun chuckled as he then looked serious as he took my hand, "We love you. Okay? We love you."

"I hope so.."
