And now for something completely different!
Written in the last 24 hours as a challenge to myself. Just a short story, only nine pages.
I hope you will enjoy!
One endnote.

Ah, weekends! Everyone's favorite time, especially in Academy City where students get to spend time relaxing and enjoying themselves. This takes many forms: shopping at the malls, enjoying sweet treats at the various nice cafes, demolishing parfaits at Josephs, reading Mangas at store racks, everyone had their vices.
Of course some students were in remedial classes where their tiny teacher was trying, almost in vain, to keep them from failing school and being kept back a year. We will not mention any names, of course.
His initials are Kamijou Touma.
Other, more virtuous, students are volunteering their time for Judgement and patrolling the streets against crime, helping with people who are lost, and protecting their Onee-sama's virtue, whether she wants them to or not...
In other words, a normal weekend in Academy City.
Or is it?
Kamijou manages to finish his remedial lessons and backlogged homework, pleasing his little teacher to no end. Hearing her praise him for once puts him in a good mood as he leaves A Certain High School. He is in such a good mood he decides to swing past the park, and a certain vending machine, on the off chance that he might run into Biribiri. He actually has enough funds that he can afford to treat her to a crepe...if she does not electrocute him first.
Once he makes it to the park there is a strange stillness in the area: no sounds of static electricity or vending machines being violated.
"So strange," Kamijou thought to himself. "Usually Biribiri is here, waiting impatiently to complain how late I am, even though we are not dating or anything..." He sat down on the bench and decided to wait for a bit to see if Misaka would show up.
Routine patrol.
Bor-ing.
The usual taggers, ruffians bothering girls, people littering...dull, dull, dull. Shirai's mobile chimed. She opened it to see an alert that it was about the time she needed to go to the park to make sure the Ape was not putting the moves, or his dirty hands, on her Sissy! SHe began teleporting over to the park, making sure she arrived stealthily to check the situation before stopping the Ape from manhandling her Sissy.
Peeping through the bushes Shirai was shocked to find that the Masher was sitting all alone on the bench and Misaka was nowhere to be seen! Shirai noticed that he looked almost disappointed to be there alone. For all the protesting her Sissy did about how the Ape was not her boyfriend it was very unusual for Misaka not to be here at this time for her 'accidental' meeting with this boy!
Deciding to casually stroll up and interrogate, er, see if the Ape knew where Misaka was Shirai made her way out to the sidewalk and walked as nonchalantly as she could towards where Kamijou was seated.
"Oh! If it isn't the boy with the most complaints for sexual deviancy!"
"Ah, good afternoon, Shirai-san," Kamijou replied politely, not wishing to antagonize the little girl. "How are you today? I hope all is peaceful."
Shirai was surprised at how calm and polite he was; it actually made her change her tone somewhat. "It has been fairly routine, thank you. How was your day?"
