Seren got out of the tub and wrapped herself in a black fluffy bath sheet to dry. She’d been so annoyed that Omega had left on bad terms and she’d needed to do something to help her relax. She grabbed the almost empty bottle of wine and the glass that she’d taken into the bathroom to keep her company and wandered out to the kitchen.
This was definitely not how she’d planned for her evening to go down. She should have been very busy with Omega right about now, but now she was beating herself up about what she’d said to him. It hadn’t come out the way she meant it to; she was just so frustrated with him for not taking his own wellbeing into consideration.
The look of hurt on his face when she’d said it had been like a knife to her gut. Omega had obviously had a bad day, which had topped off a terrible week, and she’d just gone and made it even worse for him by not engaging her brain filter before she spoke.
She put the empty glass by the sink and the wine bottle into the fridge, thinking that she may as well just go to bed now, drunk and alone. A soft knock at the door made her groan and roll her eyes. What the hell did someone want with her at this hour?
She opened the door a crack, hiding behind it as she only wore a towel. When she realised who it was, though, she smiled and opened it up the rest of the way for him. Omega stood there swaying on his feet slightly and she couldn’t contain the giggle that escaped her. He was drunk and his hair was a dishevelled mess. His cheeks held a slight blush and his eyes were flickering from their usual bright blue to the icy fire that he got when he was emotional. He was adorable.
“Are you drunk, Omega?” she said with a smirk.
“Apparently so," he said, as he gave her a toothy grin.
She sighed and pulled him inside.
“I’m sorry for what I said. I didn’t mean to make your rubbish day even worse.”
He eyed her intently, that fire in his eyes still flickering from one colour to the other. She’d never seen that happen to him before, but he smelled like he’d had a lot to drink in the time since he left her, so she figured it must be that. She’d never seen him properly drunk before and it took a hell of a lot of alcohol to get a ghoul drunk; especially a big one. That made her feel even worse that he’d turned to drinking again. He cupped her face in his hand and smiled a lopsided smile.
“You’re so beautiful,” he said as he breathed in deeply. “Your scent, it’s divine.”
“I’ve just got out of the bath, Omega,” she giggled, “of course I’ll smell nice.”
He eyed her again for a few more seconds before a growl rumbled from his chest and he snatched her up. She squealed as he held her to him and carried her in to her bedroom.
She kissed him and she could taste the vodka on his breath. He moaned as their lips clashed and he caught hers with his fangs, drawing blood. It was almost like he'd forgotten to be gentle with them, but at that moment, she didn’t care. All she wanted was him in whatever state he came.
He walked them to the bedroom and threw her down onto the mattress. She giggled again and watched him with rapt attention as he stripped off. His shirt came off first, revealing the ridges of solid muscle that were too often hidden underneath, then his pants. His long legs stumbled slightly from his drunkenness, making her laugh again.
The wine she’d had gave her a warm glow, and she was glad that he wasn’t upset with her anymore. She knelt on the bed facing him and unwrapped the towel from around herself. His eyes flared and he came to kneel in front of her.
He was naked now, and she marvelled at the masculine beauty of him. Her hand wrapped around his already hard length and she gently stroked him. He hissed in a breath and his hands skimmed over her skin, cupping her ass and pulling her towards him.
