Hi guys!
So, this is the end of Forgotten. I know it ended on a cliffhanger, sorry :( but I'm planning to write a sequel sometime in the future. Unfortunately, I also have other plans for books I want to write, so it may come along very slowly or not come out for a long time. I plan to write it alongside the new books I'm planning, but I'm not sure when I'm going to publish it. I'm going to try to get the first few chapters of the sequel out in the next few months, but no promises.
Thank you to all of you who have stuck with Forgotten until the end, and thank you especially to the people who voted and commented on it! I really appreciate it. All of the comments that you guys make are really nice and make me smile (: I hope all of you who read Forgotten will also read the sequel when it comes out.
There are a couple things I hope you'll look into. First, I made a cast for this book. I'm really proud of it and I think I got it right, so I hope you'll check it out! I also put pictures of my cast as their characters on the following chapters (basically the chapters where they first appear/you get to know them):
Chapter 1 - a picture of Hailee Steinfeld as Stella Parlett
Chapter 2 - a picture of Nicole Muñoz as Liana Parlett
Chapter 3 - a picture of Emily Alyn Lind as Hayley Parlett
Chapter 8 - a picture of Colin Ford as Rowan Esmond
If you have a good casting you like for one of the more minor characters, feel free to comment below. I'll probably add more to the cast in the sequel.
One more thing - the next few books I'm planning to write are not science fiction, they're teen fiction/romance. I know that a lot of Forgotten readers probably aren't as interested in that genre, but I hope you'll check them out anyway when they come out later this summer.
Thank you so much again! I hope you enjoyed Forgotten, and stay tuned for more books coming soon!
- Rachel
