Never say no (Modern Hamliza Story)(On Hold)

Chapter 1: The dare

"Angie?" Eliza squeaked as they stood outside the school doors. "Yes Betsey?" Angelica asked her sister. "I don't think Peggy's ready for her first day." Eliza said as their gaze turned to their younger sister. Peggy was wearing yellow overalls with a white t-shirt underneath, her fluffy hair tied up in a ponytail. She was talking happily to Theodosia and Maria. "Oh she's ready." Angelica nodded at the other girls as telling them it's time. Angelica stood at the top of the v shape,Peggy and Maria in the middle, Theodosia and Eliza stood at the back.

As they entered the school, all eyes fell on them. Eliza scurried closer to Theodosia, terror clear on her face. Theodosia grabbed Eliza's hand and whispered in her ear "You got this Liz." Eliza smiled at her friend. "Thanks Theo." Eliza whispered back.

Alexander Hamilton and his friends watched the girls enter. Theodosia sent a wave to Aaron Burr who was watching from the side. "Salut Mesdames!" Lafayette called. They all called him by his last name as his first name was French and no one could pronounce it. Alexander was surrounded by John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan, Lafayette, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and Aaron Burr. Maria sent a wink to all the boys. Maria was quite the player. Rumor has it, Maria has had 6 boyfriends at the same time!

They passed the crowd and they all sat down in the grass outside. "If we were just gonna go outside, why did we have to go inside?" I asked. "Because Liz, if we went around the building it would take forever!" Maria told her. "Duh." Peggy said. "It's your first day! How would you know?" Eliza said. "Cause, I'm cool." Peggy huffed. "Sure you are Pegs." Maria said, patting Peggy's leg.

"Theo?" Angelica asked as Theodosia ran towards us. "Where were you?" Maria asked, winking at her. "Eww no Maria! I was just talking to Aaron, not anything else!" Theodosia replied. "Oh just kiss Burr already!" Maria sighed. "Erm no. Anyway, there's a dare going around to never say no!" Theodosia exclaimed. "I'm sorry but I'm going to say no." Eliza said, getting up. "Liz, wait! We have to all do it! It's my freshman year! I wanna be cool!" Peggy cried. "Well then you do it and I won't." Eliza said. "But I wanna do it together!" Peggy whined. "Fine." Eliza mumbled.
