Peggy snuck around a corner to watch them. She frowned when she saw them crying. "Maria, They're just crying and hugging!" Peggy cried to the girl behind her. "Well Peg, at least they're hugging." Theodosia said from behind them. "Theo?" Peggy asked in surprise. "She's my best friend! I had to come!" Theodosia exclaimed. "They should just kiss!" Maria sighed. "Mari, calm down." Angelica said. "You too?" Peggy asked. "She's my sister! I had to come!" Angelica exclaimed. "That's what Theo said! Except best friend instead of sister!" Peggy giggled. "She's coming!" Peggy squeaked and they all ran away.

"I'll see you at a different time, okay?" Eliza said as she stood up. "Okay, I will see you again." Alexander grabbed Eliza's hand and placed a kiss on it. Eliza blushed a deep red before walking away.
"Ooooo!" Peggy giggled as Eliza walked towards them. "How did your walk go?" Theodosia asked. "It was fine." Eliza said before giving Theodosia a look that said 'I'll tell you later.' Theodosia nodded at Eliza. "Anyway, I should get to class." Eliza said, quiet. Theodosia grabbed Eliza's hand and said "I'll come with you!" Eliza nodded and they headed inside

-

"Then what happened?" Theodosia asked Eliza. They were in the middle of science class, something both girls were good at. "Well, he told me his story and I told him mine." Eliza whispered to her. "That explains the crying." Theodosia said to herself. "What?" Eliza asked. Theodosia knew she couldn't lie to her best friend. "I was spying on you guys." Theodosia said before letting out a deep breath. "Was anyone else spying?" Eliza asked, raising one eyebrow. "Me, Peggy, Maria, and Angelica." Theodosia said in one breath. "Ok." Eliza said before turning back to the lesson.

Eliza kept herself occupied by the lesson. Unlike usual, she was desperate to get out of class. She was ready to go see her sisters and friend. Why would they spy on me? Eliza thought.

-

The bell finally rang. Eliza gathered her things and walked out. It was lunchtime. Eliza headed off to her locker to put her stuff away. As she unlocked it a letter fell out of it. She picked it up and read it.

Dear Eliza,
Our talk has my mind stumbling over you. I can't get you out of my mind. It is as if you have left a tattoo on my brain. I can't explain the feeling, but I understand that you're a quiet soul. I however am a loud and outgoing soul. I understand if you don't want to hang out with me again. Please, meet me at lunch in the garden.
Yours dearly,
Alexander Hamilton

Eliza clutched the letter, smiling. "That boy is mine! That boy is mine!" Eliza spun around in the school hallway, singing. "Liz?" Peggy asked, coming out of her class. "THAT BOY IS MINE!" Eliza squealed. Peggy took the letter out of Eliza's hand.

"Dear Eliza, Our talk has my mind stumbling over you! I can't get you out of my mind. It is as if you have left a tattoo on my brain! I can't explain the feeling, but I understand that you're a quiet soul! I however am a loud and outgoing soul! I understand if you don't want to hang out with me again! Please, meet me at lunch in the garden! Yours dearly, Alexander Hamilton!!" Peggy exclaimed. "You gonna go meet him?" Peggy asked. "Yes." Eliza sighed, knowing she had no choice.

Eliza wanted to talk to her friends, but she also wanted to go see Alexander. She already told Peggy she would. So, she grabbed her lunch and headed out to the garden.

"Alex?" Eliza called as she entered the garden. "Liza." Alexander said from behind a tree. The wind was harsh and Eliza shivered. "Here." Alexander said, giving Eliza his coat. "No, I don't want to take your coat and let you be cold." Eliza said before shivering again. "Please, take it." Alexander begged. Eliza took the coat and wrapped it around herself. She felt better with his coat on. It was comfortable and warm.

"So, did you come here because you had to, or do you like me too?" He asked. Eliza thought it over for a second.

"I like you too."

I thought this was short, wow! It was actually 714 words! Anyway, Comment, Vote! Hope you enjoyed!
