Y/N and Pedro had been dating for a while now and their relationship had become more serious. They had attended a few events together, but nothing like the premiere they were going to tonight. This was a big deal, and Y/N was nervous about the attention they would receive from the media, knowing their relationship will be centre of attention due to y/n being transgender and being in an lgbtq+ relationship

As they walked the red carpet, y/n in a sleek (colour) suit and pedro in a matching black one, they were stopped by several interviewers who wanted to talk to them about their relationship, and less so that of the show. Y/N was uncomfortable with some of the questions they were being asked, especially the ones about their intimacy and Y/N's bottom surgery, he was also angry that the interviewers only focused on such, and not on the show that he and Pedro was there to promote, they had both worked so hard on the show and it annoyed him that no one seemed to care about that.

Pedro noticed Y/N's discomfort and gently placed a hand on his back, silently reassuring him that he was there and everything was going to be okay. "We're here to promote the show, not our personal lives," Pedro said, cutting in before Y/N could answer the interviewer's question about their sex life.

Y/N let out a sigh of relief and smiled gratefully at Pedro. "Thank you," he whispered.

As they made their way inside the theater, Y/N couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious about the attention they were receiving. He had never been one to enjoy the spotlight, and the questions about his personal life were making him even more uncomfortable.

During the movie, Y/N found it hard to focus on the film, as he kept worrying about what the media would say about their relationship. After the movie, they were swarmed by more reporters, and Y/N was feeling more and more anxious and frustrated.

Pedro noticed Y/N's anxiousness and frustratedness, and knew it was time to step in. "I think that's enough for tonight," he said, gently pulling Y/N away from the reporters. "Let's go home."

Y/N nodded, grateful for Pedro's protection. As they made their way to the car, Y/N let out a deep breath, feeling relieved that it was all over. "Thank you for standing up for me," he said, looking up at Pedro with a small smile. "they were really getting on my nerves"

"Of course," Pedro replied, leaning in for a kiss. "I'll always have your back."

Y/N felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. 

"i just don't understand what everyone's obsession with lgbtq+ relationships are, we're not going to these events to talk about being gay or trans, we're here to promote or shows and our hard work,i just...i don't know..." y/n trailed off anger still evident in his voice.

"i completely get that and i agree with you, it's very unfair that lgbtq+ relationships are so alienated in hollywood and the acting community, but for now we've got to be strong, and i know we can do this together, and hopefully we can change people's perspective along the way" pedro said, reaching out and placing a hand on y/n's, rubbing circles over the back of his hand soothingly. Y/n looked into pedro's eyes,He knew that Pedro was the one for him, and no matter what happened, they would always be there for each other.
