Hermione's P.O.V.
"Hermione, calm down. God, I mean, it's not like getting our N.E.W.T.s." Ron said, perched on a high stool chair.
"That's only because we haven't taken them yet!" I replied shrilly. "They were supposed to be here already!"
"But they're not, so calm down." I turned from my post at the huge window to give Ron a death glare. He withered a little.
"Don't you dare tell me to clam down Ronald Weasley! Don't you dare try to tell me what to do!" I swirled around towards the window again.
"Can both of you just shut up?" Ginny said, running to the window. "What is that in the distance?"
The whole family was in the tiny kitchen, watching out for the owls that held the Hogwarts information. Ever since the Prophet wrote that article, I spent all my free time looking out the window. I don't know why I was so anxious for these letters; Ron was right (Not that I'll ever tell him that.), these weren't the owls that carried our N.E.W.T.s. Those would come at the end of this year.
I still couldn't believe I was going back to Hogwarts; none of us could. I wasn't sure how I felt about it either. On one hand, I was super excited to be able to be surrounded by friends. But Dumbledore or Snape wouldn't be there. And really, we wouldn't be just Harry, Ron, and Hermione anymore. We'd be Harry , Ron, and Hermione, the ones who brought Voldemort down. I wasn't like Harry Potter; I knew I couldn't handle being famous.
Everyone now knew why we were hiding last year, because of the Horcruxes. They knew that Dumbledore left the job to Harry and Harry brought us along. So many wizards and witches have traveled from all over the world to see us. We have to hear their thanks, witness their tears. It's getting to be too much, to the point where I want to pretend I'm not here. Not that I'd ever do that.
If it's bad for me, though, it's even worse for Harry. He's been thrust into spotlight again and again, never knowing what a normal life is. It absolutely breaks my heart.
"Oh my god! Are those owls? Four owls?" I shouted. They were coming closer, getting bigger every second.
"Well! Don't just stand there! Open the window!" Harry screamed.
Oops, right. I quickly ran to the window and, after some pushing, opened it.
The four owls landed gracefully on the windowsill. Harry, Ron, and Ginny pushed through Mr. and Mrs. Weasley who had beat them to the window.
"Here Harry, let me hold Teddy while you check your owl." Mrs. Weasley grabbed Teddy from Harry and started to coo at him. Baby Teddy Lupin giggled, grabbing chunks of his turquoise hair.
A brown owl with spots demanded my attention. He held out his foot towards me. Hands shaking, I untied the letter from the owl. The owl bowed low and took flight into the sky. After every owl was flying back, I turned to the guys.
On cue, we all began to open them. I stared in shock for a long, quiet moment. Then Ron began to laugh. Soon, Harry and Ginny were laughing too. I could only stare at the letter that looked like it always has.
"See? Told you there was nothing to look forward to. It's exactly like the first six letters we got. Except with different books." Ron said between laughter.
I glared at him. I can't believe this! I've been waiting for this?
"Shut up, Ron." I glared.

Draco's P.O.V.
"Master Draco! An owl arrived for you." Jinky said, tapping on the bathroom door where I was in the shower. Ahhh. That must be the owl with the Hogwarts information. The one I've been dreading.
"I'll be right out. In the mean time, give it some water and food."
After another half hour of standing under the water which had long since turned cold, I decided I couldn't stall any longer.
Slipping on a robe, I entered the kitchen where Jinky was feeding a brown owl with spots. As soon as the brown owl spotted me, it lifted its foot.
"Master Draco, I tried to take the letter and send the owl on its way but it wouldn't let me."
"That's okay Jinky. I got it."
Sighing, I walked forward and untied the letter. The owl finished it food, gulped down water, and flew back through the open window.
Opening the letter, I saw that it had a new list of books. Guess I had to go to Diagon Alley. And no point in waiting, either. School would start in a couple weeks. Might as well get all my stuff now before its crowded with annoying Hogwarts students and their Death Eater hate-filled parents.
-----------------------
So that was the second chapter. Sorry it was so short.
These next few chapters are all going to be short since they're basically fillers. I just want them to get to Hogwarts but I don't like it when stories skip time. Not sure if that made sense. But like when they write about something that's going to happen in a week or a month and the next installment is of that event. It really annoys me. So I try not to do that.
So comment and whatnot. Umm... I really want to get a lot of readers so if you know anybody who loves Harry Potter, can you guys show them this story? Thanks a bunches!
Oh and I probably won't upload for a couple of weeks because of AP exams and everything.
Buutttt.... I'll try to upload soon.
Anyway, Bye!
