The Beginning - Part 2

Finally, let's begin ....

So, the story starts at Nimrit and Shantanu's brunch. Let's assume Shantanu still has feelings for Nimrit, even after their breakup, but she just considers him her friend. They both met after almost 5 months in a café for brunch. They both greet each other with a hug. Nimrit wanted to let go of the hug after a few seconds, but Shantanu had his arms wrapped around her tightly for a long time. He didn't want to let go of her. But after a while he released her from his arms, it was quite a normal hug for him, but she was a bit uncomfortable, though she let it pass as she thought of them to be friends.

They chatted about Nimrit's BB journey while having their food and drinks. Finally, Shantanu dropped the question he had been waiting for a long time to ask for.

Shantanu – So, I have been hearing all these rumors about ShivRit, Nimzie do you actually love him?

Nimrit wasn't expecting this question, it made her cheeks red and her stomach flutter. She tried to hide these feelings as she herself was confused about the reaction she had just after hearing about ShivRit.

Nimrit – No Sha, we are just good friends, she said while avoiding his eye contact.

Shantanu – Then why were you so possessive when he got close to other girls?

His question stumped her again, as she had never actually given heed to all these things.

Nimrit – Mai kaha possessive thi, mai bass usko bure sangat se bacha rahi thi, she lied. Mai to apne dosti kaa farz nibha rahi thi aur kuch nahi. He's my "buddy" naa ...

Shantanu – I thought so too. Vaise bhi tum dono compatible nahi ho, you are so classy and he's just a regular desi guy, tumlog kaa comparison ho hi nahi sakta.

He thought she'd be impressed by this flattery, but it just pissed her off.

Nimrit – Kyaa bol raha hai tu? How dare you talk about my Shiva like that? Tu aise sab soch bhi kaise sakta hai, he is one of the most kind-hearted and beautiful souls I have ever met. Mai uske baare me kuch bhi bura nahi sunn sakti, she said very angrily.

Shantanu – Arre arre, chill Nimzie, maine to bass masti me bola, he lied to calm her down.

Nimrit – Aainda se aisi masti mat karna.

He was very surprised by the way she reacted. He understood that she had feelings for Shiv but hadn't realized it yet. After a while when she had calmed down, he suggested that they click some pictures. She agreed but specifically asked not to post any of them on social media as she did not like people shipping them together. But Shantanu being Shantanu posted a few pictures of them with a caption saying "mine" on all social media platforms. He reasoned with her that can't two friends post pictures with each other and also made her repost them. He acted very innocently, but in reality, he just wanted to get back at Shiv and wanted him to maintain some distance from her. It was as if he was marking his territory. Nimrit was not happy while reposting those pictures, she was feeling this immense sense of guilt as if she was cheating on someone, but she just couldn't understand why. This whole brunch with Shantanu had made her realize and think about a lot of emotions that she had suppressed for a long time.

Shiv and Stan met in the evening as they had planned the previous night. Shiv was already fuming in rage due to the social media post made by his Namya.

Shiv – Dekha naa tune uska post? Ye ladki jo social media pe hamesha inactive rehti hai, aaj bada active ho rahi hai. Usko uske "MINE" ke saath jo pictures post karne the. Aur tu bolta hai, ki vo mujhse pyaar karti hai, he said with a heavy heart.

Stan – Arre, hogaya kyaa tera jallkukda pan shuru firse? Merko ek baat bata, jab Nimrit se related koi baat hoti hai toh tu itne jaldi Sher se Billi kaise ban jaata re, he said while laughing.

Shiv – Hasa mat re mujhe, ye ladki ne already mera dimag kharab kar Rakha hai.

Stan – Bhava, mujhe guarantee hai ye Shantanu ne usse jabardasti se pictures repost karvaye hai. Tension nako gheu re. Ek kaam karte hai, ye jo teri "jalan" hai vo kal Colors ki party me apni bhabi Nimmi pe aazma ke dekhte hai, shayad tujhe tere sawalonka jawab mil jaega.

Shiv – Tujhe lagta hai ye kaam karega?

Stan – Merko maalum, sabko maalum, vo tere se kitna pyaar karti. Ye yede chale tumlog ke fukat ke chalu hai re. Hum sabne dekha hai vo tere liye kitna possessive hoti hai. Kal apni pyari Priyanka ke saath thoda wakt toh bitake dekh, fir pata chalega teer kaise nishane pe lagta. Is sab me hume apni Sumbya ki help lagegi, toh usko ye katha sunate hai ab, varna gafla hojaega.

They call Sumbul and explain the whole situation, who gets very happy knowing about Shiv's emotions and squeals with excitement as she was going to play a part in bringing her bhaiya and bhabhi together.
