Y/N's Pov:

I got home and honestly I didn't want to see anyone or anything but my bed.

As I got to my apartment I saw that Jason left a note on my door.

You left your apartment open when you left so I closed it for you. Be safe next time X3

I smiled at the little note. For some reason that note felt heartwarming.

As far as I remember I think Jason has been the only one who has actually cared about me and my well-being.

Is that what friends do?

I took the note and opened my apartment to see that my notebook that I lost was on the desk with another note.

Btw, you left your notebook in Biology and I was going to tell you earlier but it past my mind.

I was getting worried on where it went and I felt relief that I hadn't completely lost it. I left both of Jacob's notes on my desk and I landed on my bed.

I had quickly fallen asleep as I was tired as hell.

I slowly started to wake up as I heard someone calling my name.

I suddenly woke up and it was Jason.

I had accidentally slapped his face as I do not like getting up.

I quickly realized what I did and I woke up.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry!" I said now fully awake.

"Nah its fine, still hurt though." he said rubbing his cheek.

I slightly chuckled and then looked at the clock. It was 4pm.

"Soo, why'd ya wake me up?"

"Your phone was ringing for about 10 minutes and so I came upstairs to see what happened." jacob said as he stood up.

"Oh. Who was calling?"

"Your boss. Turns out an animatronic had an incident where they fell off the stage or something. Why would he call you if your only the night guard?"

"Heh. Its a uhhh a long story. Not really but I'd rather not explain"

He just nodded.

"Well ya better get to work before you get fired" he said jokingly.

I chuckled and thanked him while I got to work.

Jacob is honestly a really nice guy and he really cares for me. Am I starting to like him?

No. I don't think he would be gay or anything. I just sighed and made my way to work.

Jacob's Pov:
Y/N is a good guy. Sure he may spend his time making robots, but honestly it's impressive.

Robots can do so much and so can Y/N. I'm trying to give Y/N some slight hints that I like him but he's not catching on. I'm gay but I try not to show it as my parents would hate me and most likely disown me even though im already over 18.

I know Y/N is smart, but even some people can get what i'm doing. Could it be that Y/N doesn't like me..?

No...

God I wish Y/N could take the hint already so I can confess to them.

These feelings for Y/N are different than anyone else I've had a crush on before.

Maybe I should go outside for some fresh air and maybe get myself a coffee...

As I walked out, I saw a coffee shop nearby so I walked inside. It was pretty clean and the smell of coffee was strong(no shit it's a coffee shop).
