Long rides| Chapter 26

Cancers pov.

Me and Scorpio were sitting together again on the bus

We were both doing the drawing game Libra made.

Scorpio was drawing a stick figure and a dog. I was drawing a cat and a dog.

The timer buzzed a few minutes later. I wrote my name at the bottom of the drawing so I know when I get it back.

I handed the drawing to Scorpio after he handed his to aqua a few seats in front of us. Gemini handed me hers from across from the right side of the bus. She had a dragon on her paper.

I glanced over at Scorpios' new paper, which was mine before that, and them at my paper, which was Gemini's dragon.

"Timer starting in 3..2..1!" Libra yelled, and I started doodling.

It was just a base of a dragon, its body, head, and wings. I get to decorate it however I want!

I drew the dragon some eyes and a mouth. I drew an underbelly, and I gave it some patterns on the wings and tail.

"Psst!" Gemini whispered, and I glanced at her.

"Don't mess it up!" She whispered again, and I nodded.

Libra's alarm went off, and we all traded papers again. The one I had went to Scorpio, Libras went to Pisces, hers went to Gemini, and geminis went to me.

My new drawing was an airplane, and all the drawings were not getting passed around in order. Everybody was just trading until they got one they hadn't had before.

When it was time to get our drawings back, mine had a dog with stripes and a cat with lightning bolts, grass, and a tree.

Scorios stick figure had turned into a real human with a real looking dog on a leash, walking in a park.

"Wow, yours is so pretty.."I told him, admiring the drawing, and he smiled.

"What are we going to play now?!" Pisces yelled to the whole bus.

"I don't know!" Libra yelled back.

"We should play guess the song or do a sing-along!" Virgo yelled.

"SING ALONG!" The bus shouted.

"I'll get some music on!" Sag shouted, quickly grabbing Leo's phone and putting music on.

The first song played was one of my Disney favorites.

I shouted lyrics out as soon as I heard the beat of the song.

Scorpio had a wide smile on his face as he looked at me.

"What?" I asked, leaning closer to him. His face turned light pink.

"Oh nothing, you're just so beautiful." He muttered.

I smile really big, "You're cute too." I say poking his nose and giggling.

"Ugh, stop it!" Taurus said, giving us a glare from the other side of the bus.

"Why?" Scorpio asked, glancing over.

"It's gross."He said and rolled his eyes.

"If Leo and Sagittarius can do that stuff, why can't they?" Aqua butted into the conversation.

Sagittarius turned around and turned a bright pink color before turning back to Leo, who was now driving.

Leo's pov

I glanced over at Sagittarius, waiting for her to give me directions.

"Where are we going, anyways..?" I asked, trying to focus on the road.

"Er. We're going to Washington Dc." Sagittarius told me.

"What? Why?" I asked, confused.

"Turn right here, and I'll show you in a little bit, kay?" Sag said and closed her phone.

"Well, we've been here for about 3 hours already. How long does it take to drive?" I asked, turning where Sag had told me.

"34 hours in all." Sagittarius told me.

"Well, let's take turns driving then. You'll switch with me at night, and then I'll switch back in the morning?" I asked, I was really bored of this, and we have 31 more hours to drive.

"It's 6:30! Can we get dinner or something?" Capricorn asked us, glancing up from his book.

"We bought a bunch of snacks from the gas station. You'll survive!" Libra yelled, chucking a bag of Chex Mix at Capricorn, and it hit him on the head.

"Er, alright.." He murmered.

"I'm gonna take a nap so I can drive through the night.." Sag mumbled and rested on my shoulder.

"Sag, Bluetooth the directions to the bus first." I told her, and she sleepily did so.

I had been driving for a while, and I hadn't realized everybody had fallen asleep. I pulled over and tapped Sag on her shoulder and brushed her hair out of her face. I pulled out my phone, it had said 9:40 pm.

I glanced back, Aqua was asleep on Libra's shoulder, Cancer was asleep in Scorpios lap, and Gemini had moved to lay on... Aries's shoulder?

"Uh, Sagittarius, your turn to drive." I gently tried to wake her, giving her some water and waiting got her to become more aware before putting her in the drivers seat.

"29 hours to go!" She whispered, waking up more and getting into the driver's seat and buckling her seatbelt. I got in next to her and did the same, and leaned on her shoulder again as she started to drive the bus.

There was a yelp. I yielded and turned around. It was Sagittarius on the floor of the White House. I screamed. "SAG!" She was on the floor with a bullet in her arm.

I woke up sweating. I frankly looking around the bus. "Sag," I said leaning my head on her shoulder," I don't have a good feeling about this."

"Why?" She asked.

"I had a really bad dream."

"What happened?" She asked, grabbing my hand.

"I don't want to say, it was really bad." I squeezed her hand, rested my head on her shoulder and turned on my phone.

I started watching YouTube but it was little laggy since we ate now in the middle of no where.

Some of the signs woke up after 8:30. First it was Gemini and then Taurus, Libra, Capricorn, etc.

They all had there own small conversations.  I was slowly dozing off. I was to scared to go back to sleep after the dream. It's probably really bad for me I usually sleep till 10:30.

I ended up sleeping for a while, it was now 12:43 pm. I looked over at Sag.

"Hi."  I said as I rolled my head to see her face.

She is so stunning and so beautiful.

"You have a good nap?" She asked and smiled still facing the road.

"Yeah. I more bad dreams." I said and slumped in my seat more. I hate thinking about the dream.

"Can we get lunch? I'm starving!" Libra yelled.

"Same here!" Capricorn yelled from beside him.

"I'll look for the nearest McDonalds." Sag shouted back at the boys.

"Yayy!!" Most of the bus screamed.

Some of the signs woke up from that. At lot of us are taking naps.

"The nearest McDonalds is in an hour!" I shouted looked at the map.

"UGHHH! Fine I guess that fine!" Capricorn yelled back.

I gave a thumbs up.
