Runaways-chapter 17

Scorpio's pov

Leo dropped me and Cancer off at her house, we walked up to the garage and put in the code. The garage slowly opened, squeaking in the process.

We walked into the garage moving towards the door. When Cancer opened the door a dog started barking and two cats came up to Cancer.

"Hi babies!" Cancer said petting the two cat in front of us.

The dog came running to Cancer to get pet but started growling and barking at me. I opened my eyes wide and glared at the dog. It kept barking so Cancer came closer to me and hugged me.

"Jaws! He is my friend don't bark!" She yelled.

The word friend hit me like a bullet. is that all I was to her, a friend?!

I took three deep breaths, I'm ok, I don't need to be dating yet anyway.

Cancer let go of me a little after Jaws stopped barking.

"Sorry about that Scorpio. " see said looking at me and she was petting Jaws.

"It's all good I'm fine." I said bending down to let the dog sniff my hand. It sniffed and started licking my hand.

"See Jaws, you like him!" Cancer giggled and pulled out her phone.

One of the cats started meowing again

"Oh hush Lucy!" She petted the Siamese cat. Then the other cat started meowing

"Bella. You too?" Cancer went and started to pet the Bombay cat.

Pisces's pov

Me and Virgo went up to the garage and I put it in the code. The garage opened and I went in, going to sit on the couch.

"What time is it?" Virgo asked

"Uh, 10:56." I pulled my phone out to check.

"Wait!" I said as I ran to my room, going to the hamster cage on the bookshelf

"You have a hamster?" Virgo asked

"Yeah, I named him Alexander Hamsterton. I call him Hammy for short though." I told her

"Cool!" She said

I grabbed the food for Hammy and put it in the bowl. We walked out and went to sit on the couch.

My phone went off. I picked it up.

"Ello?" I asked

"Pisces, Pack your bag. I booked us rooms at the Arizona Grand, the one with the waterpark. And I'm picking you up at 8:30 in the morning. You and Virgo" Leo told me

"Ooh kay!" I said

"Bye!" She hung up

"Virgo, we going to a hotel, let's go get your stuff." I said dragging her to the garage door. I grabbed my keys and we hopped in to the car.

I drove to her house and waited in the car for her. When she came out she had a bag of clothes in one hand and a crate in the other.

"What's that?" I asked Virgo

"It's a surprise!" She said and got into the car and when we got home, she brought the crate in and opened it and out came a mini Mastiff and Boxer mix.

"Awww she's so cute!" I said, petting her

"She's an emotional support dog, a certified one." She told me and I looked at her, she had a red vest that said service dog on it. She also had one eye blue and the other brown. she was a black and brown brindle dog.

"Her name is Eclipse." Virgo said pointing to the black collar on her neck.

Leo's pov

I slowly turned over and opened my eyes looking at Lily who was scratching the door to go out. I looked over at the clock and saw it was 7:23.

I yawned and looked over to Sag who was still asleep. I got up and opened the door for Lily.

I decided I would make Sag and me breakfast. I opened the freezer and grabbed some mini frozen pancakes I got out twenty pancakes ten for me and ten fore Sag. Some of the pancakes had ice over some of them. I put them in the microwave for thirty seconds.

Beep

I took out the pancakes and set them on the table. I walked over to the back door and let Lily out.

I went back to my room for Sag.

I opened the door to my room and walked over to Sag and shook her.

 "Stopp..." She whined.

"We have pancakes on the table plus we need to go get the others soon." I said a pulled on her arm.

"Fine." She said and got up.

We walked out of the room and sat at the table.

I started eating some of the pancakes. 

"Want whipped cream?" I asked her looking for Lily outside.

"Sure!" She said and got up with me.

"The whipped cream is in the fridge, I'm going to look for Lily." I said going to the back door.

"K." She said and walked over to the fridge.

I opened the back door, "Lily!" I yelled as I stepped out.

I saw her over by the pool and walked over. 

"Lily come in." I said as I walked to pick her up.

I grabbed her and walked back inside.

Sag was sitting at the table waiting. " It's almost 8:30." She said eating some pancakes.

"It's only 7:43. We have like an hour." I said looking at the Alexa.

"We should probably leave early so we can get there on time." Sag said spraying whipped cream on her pancakes.

"Pass it." I said wanting the whipped cream.

She handed it to me and started eating her pancakes.

"Thanks." I said spraying whipped cream on the pancakes.

She nodded mouth full.

I finished eating my pancakes and sat on the couch. "Wanna watch something?" I asked looking at her, she was throwing away her plate.

"Sure! What should we watch?" Sag said and sat next to me.

"We could look on Disney+." I said turning the TV on.

"Sounds good." She said.

I clicked on the Disney+ icon and went to my account. I went to my recommended and saw something called The Owl House I clicked on it and started watching it. "This looks good right?" I asked Sag.

"Yup." She said.

"These are 24 minutes or so. So we can watch one then go to pick everyone up." I said.

"Kay." She said fiddling with her fingers.

"That was super good!" Sag said Lily on her lap.

"Yeah! We should watch it again sometime." I said petting Lily.

I looked at Alexa, "Shoot it's 8:20!" I yelled and ran to my room scaring Lily. Sag came running after me.

"Grab your stuff and get in the car." I said grabbing my stuff.

Sag grabbed hers and she grabbed the keys and left to the car. I started to back out. 

"Sag I'm going to check the doors be right back." I said and ran put of the car.

I checked each door they were locked so I ran back to the car. I backed the car out of the garage. I started to go to Pisces house because it was the closest.
