I put on my light tan sweater over my white blouse as I looked into the mirror of my bathroom. I stared at my reflection, my short, wavy brown hair barely covered my eyes. I grabbed my white rounded glasses and put them on. As I looked back into the mirror I noticed the bite, surrounded with dry blood on my neck. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the bite from last night. But he looked familiar, like one of those vampires from my school. I grabbed a tan band aid that matches my skin tone and put it over the bite. I slowly went into thought.

Why does he seem so familiar? I mean, I didn't get a good look at him to figure out who he was, but he definitely seemed like a vampire in my grade, or even in the grade above me. Ugh! My brain won't function at all anymore!

"River! Hurry up! We have school you dummy!" I got startled from my sister, Sage's voice from behind me.

"Geez Sage! You scared me!" I turned around to look at her, her angel wings and halo were out, her blonde hair with an ombre of purple and blue were up in braids. She wore a white sweater-like top with a black skirt. She handed me my satchel bag as I grabbed it from her.

"What did you do to your neck?" She noticed the band aid on my neck.

"Oh I just scratched it during school, it's no big deal." Was probably the worst excuse I could come up with. I grabbed my books and began to walk out of the door with my sister. The autumn air was crisp and cold as I walked out to the car. My mother then got in the driver's seat and my sister next to me. She started to drive and I stared out of the window, my mind clouded with thoughts of who that boy was. When we arrived I opened the door and stepped out into the cold air.

I stared at the school looking around for the boy from the night before. I didn't see anyone who even looked remotely close to him. I sighed in disappointment and started to walk to class with a slumped posture.

When I sat down I looked around the room and caught sight of the boy from the woods. He was.. staring at me. I felt my face get hot as I quickly looked away from him and buried my face into my history book. I heard his laugh from across the room and I sighed.

"What are you laughing at huh? Ms. Phillips' ass?" the boy's friend asked, playfully punching his shoulder while laughing. Just by that he most likely has the most perverted friends ever. He laughed and looked back at me and winked. I quickly looked away before he saw my face go red. I refused to look at him for the rest of the lesson. However, he couldn't get off my mind all day.
